I have a sensor near the crank so when you pedal t( i think its called a pedalec sensor)the motor kicks in, or is supposed to but dosent work. Its for a Moutain trailz bike and wondered if anyone no's where to get one Thanks

Hi ive got a Izip Mountain Trailz with the battery rack on the back. I did have a dodgy throttle but changed that and also changed the pedelec sensor on the crank. I brought this second hand and dont know if it worked in the first place. Ive checked to see if the sensor is close enough to pick up the magnets and it is 1mm away so should be ok, Just thought maybe i need to move if further away, will give this a try.

So do you think the pedal sensor is up the creek

I have a Izip bike, When I pull the throttle back in Tag mode the bike will power up to about 15 miles an hour without peddling. When I put the bike in pas mode and pull the throttle back the bike starts to excellerate before i start peddling, is this correct as i have a urburn mover and when i put this in pas mode the motor does not kick in until i start peddling.

Has this gone yet??

Wanted Izip battery charger for mountain trailz rackmounted type. I think mine has given up the ghost or i need a new battery pack, but want to try this first. Model QL-09002-B2401800F Input:AC 100-240v 50/60hz 1.5A Output:24v 1800ma This has the 3 pin connector to connect to the battery If anyone has got one laying around for free or cheap let me know. Im in the UK Thanks

Thanks for the quick answer but the battery I have is the one that fits on a bike rack on the back. Does the distance change a lot frome 10ah to 9ah or is it just a small amount. I can buy to new 9ah batterys for £30.00(for the pair delivered), is this a good price? All i have to do is unscrew the casing and change the batterys.

Thanks for the answer but i changed the sensor before changing the throttle and the sensor blew again. I need to find another sensor first before trying anything else because i think it was the throttle that has caused this. Can any one help.

I have a izip Trailz al bike the battery's are just about dead(i can do about 5 miles on them) I am looking at buying some new ones. I have found some that are 12v 9ah but the ones that came with the bike are 12v 10ah, will the 9ah oneswork and what is the difference in the ah? Would i still be able to use the same charger. Sorry dont know anything about batterys

I am having problems with the sensor on the crank. It went pop because of the throttle being dodgy. I put a new throttle and sensor on but when i pedal the motor dosent kick in. It works fine with just using the throttle but when I change so i can peddle and the motor should kick in it doesnt. Where can i buy a new sensor so i can try again or does any one else have this problem
