  1. Rainy days, some thing to factor in. Winter rainy days are uncomfortable. FYI interesting rain log for London 2016: https://weather-and-climate.com/average-monthly-Rainy-days,London,United-Kingdom
  2. I hear you can get more speed/power from the Bafang, but changing the computer wheel size entry from say 26" to 18", so the motor turns a 26" wheel at the speed of a 18" wheel fooling the system giving you more power and speed.
  3. I plan to rent a pedelec and test the journey first before buying an upgrade kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I Know I am seriously considering upgrading my Al frame Marin with a Pedelec kit for commuting to work. I used to easily do 9 miles in 35 min at my fittest. Now i live 18.5 miles from work an have to buy a £1900.00 season ticket to get in...but i think with the advances in pedelec technology. From the research I have done I am sure I could cover 18.5 miles with in 60 min at a 20 mph average. South London to city centre. Is this possible? What are your thoughts and recommendations.
  5. I'd be happy to have a consistent 20 mph speed over say a 18 mile commute with out getting too exhausted to work with in 1 hour or so travel time, and then cycle back home again at the end of the day....saving on buying a £1900.00 Southern Rail Season ticket.
  6. ..but aren't you restricted by the law that says you can only use a 200W motor?
