Question... Is it possible to swap the 250w geared motor with a 500w DD and that procedure will be a simple swap? Or do i have to change everything?

So the smaller the wheel setting, the higher real speed i can get? I will check the speed accuracy now and after the "hack" to see if it will work...thanks! Edit. I just took a quick spin and tried a couple of settings ( 24inch, 22, 700c), but didn't notice any difference. My battery is at 37v right now,, i don't know if that is a big deal.

Question... Is there a way to trick the motor in order to get a higher top speed? Micah from ebikeschool just uploaded a new video and one of the tips for higher speed, was to change the wheel settings on your display. I run on 28" wheels, if i change it to 26" will that do anything? The speed on the display will be wrong obviously, but what about the real speed?

Thank you. So the p1 doesn't have to do with motor performance, got it. I will check the speed with my phones gps and if it is correct I don't have to change anything?

Hi, my motor has these writings on it SY73626OL0517S1. Do you know what they mean? And the p1 setting is 87. Anyone knows if it is the correct one? That's how I bought it.

More updates... I upgrated my brakes to dual pivot calipers, new brake levers and i also bought a golden handle bar to match the calipers ( i thought it would look really cool), but it came in silver ( how hard was to send the correct color?) I just took it for a quick ride and i saw massive improvement in breaking power!

Overheating Controller
Do you keep it in a bag? Maybe slap a heatsink to help it stay cooler...

Neater/Simpler way to install the pedal sensor?
Or you can throw the cable ties and just drill two small holes on the plastic disc and bolt it to the cog. It would be easier if the holes you drill match any existing holes on the cog. If not, maybe drill the cog also?

I just made two small upgrades. I used a small pvc pipe wrapped in sticker to hide the excess cables and also fitted a heatsink on the esc. I had to cut the enclosure though. Now i'm waiting for the new handlebar, brakes and levers...

I always keep it inside and when I use it, I lock it in the shade and where I can see it. When it is in movement I worry though.

Ok, my Thermal Grease Paste arrived and in the next few days i will add the heatsink to the esc. I found out, that you can add heatsink to the motor as well, it's called hubsink. Anyone tried that? I would like to add something like that, because i'm worried about the motor heating up. We have very hot summer days here in Greece. Am i overreacting?

Charging question... If I want to store my bike for a long time ( one month), how do I charge the battery for storage? The charger doesn't have any settings. Do I charge it until it reaches 37-38 volts and then stop? Do I fully charge and take it for a spin until the voltage drops to the desired level? Even now, if I know i'm not going to ride for a couple of days, I try to have the battery at 36-38volts.
