EU are already bringing in right to repair, and all battery devices must have owner replaceable units., so it's coming....

I think I got the wrong controller as it has Julet cables, so to make sure everything works, or can be made to work, I am going to get a controller with the other connectors in order to make changes if necessary. Thanks for all the good advice. When I get everything sorted hopefully I will post the new installation with photos for all Swytch users, who wish to change from Swytch.

Hi I got a controller with a an 8 pin Julet connector, a 9 pin connection for the motor, and a 3 pin connector which I think is for the PAS sensor. Can anyone recommend aK2 display with a throttle that will fit the controller model KT36. Thanks Rig the jig.

I am located in Ireland, so if I buy from within EU there are no extra charges, I amd reluctant to buy directly from China due to quality issues.

I'm new to this forum, I was speaking to a scientist in Galway University battery technology, and he told me you could extend the life of a Li-on battery by as much as 4 times, e.g. from 1,000 to 4, 000 cycles by charging to 80% and recharging at 20%. Definitely worth a try.

Thanks for the quick reply, its definitely a nine pin connector, and I'll take your advice on the 18A or less. Does the amperage of the battery have an effect on the motor, is 15 Amp 36V ok?

Hi I'm new to this forum, I'm a semi retired office equipment technician, I want to convert my Swytch bike to standard 36V 15A.H. battery. The 250W wheel on the Swytch is a 9 pin sensorless wheel, so I 'm looking for a sensorless controller, that will support PAS, a display, and a throttle. From reading various posts I think I need a KT 22Amp controller. Can anybody advise me on this please. Kind regards Rig the Jig.
