  1. Yeah it's not like they have anything to do is it. Like enforcing the governments Covid restrictions. Sorting out idiots who refuse to wear masks in shops etc. People going to illegal raves etc etc. People getting police involved in their Facebook arguements It's easy to blame the police. Don't forget there's 20,000 less officer now due to cuts in the police budgets.
  2. Well I'm glad you're bike seems to be fixed. Hope you make a speedy recovery. Take care.
  3. Hi I there is there any updates to whether the brake issued been sorted. If so what was the solution.
  4. Thanks Hovlev2. That's great will give it a try.
  5. Thanks for the info. I live in West Yorkshire. Could you guys tell me where you got yours from please.
  6. Thanks Jonah. I do wish they would post their views. I think from the post so far I think Andy ( my son ) will do just fine with one.
  7. Hi there my son is thinking of getting an Oxygen S Cross MTB. I was wondering if anyone has own or does own one. More to the point what do you think of the bikes. Any comments good or bad would be helpful. TIA.
  8. Wow. I really like the look of it. Emmm looks like I might put my idea of fitting a conversion kit on hold. Now comes the long job of softening up the misses. Looking at the time scale to get one, I should have a good while to work my magic.
  9. Thank you. Will I be best keep checking the website.
  10. Wow thankß for the detailed reply. When do you expect to have the kits in please
  11. Thanks for that. I know you're waiting for new stock so would the wheels you supply be ok. Thanks Dave...
  12. Hi there another question sorry. I'm wanting to know will the wheels supplied with conversion kits be ok with my v brakes on my specialised sirrus sport.
  13. Just thinking of things that may become an issue. Will I be able to use my existing cassette. It's got nine sprockets on. Also would you advise fitting a pair of torque arms. Sorry to be a pain, I just want to make the conversion as smooth as possible.
  14. Does the fact that the bike has quick release wheels make any difference to having a rear hub motor?
  15. Thanks for that. Really good sound advice.
  16. Hi there. I'm looking at getting a conversion kit. I think I'd go for a front hub. I live in quite hilly area. I'm 60 years old, weigh 15 1/2 stone. I'm looking at using the e bike just to help me up the steepest hills as I still want to get a good workout. I'd be looking at using a heart rate monitor as well. I have a specialised sirrus. I'd like to go on longer rides (25+)so I'd be grateful if you could recommend a good kit. I have looked at some of the woosh kits. I like a kit with a built-in controller if possible. TIA.
  17. If in doubt tell them you'll ride to the nearest police station, then let them look at it there. If it happened at home ask for their warrant card ring up the police to check if they have the said officer. But as your bikes on private property they wouldn't have a power to look at the bike. The above is good advice for anyone but especially lone females if they feel the officers aren't the real police. Always check an officers details, no officer would refuse that request under those circumstances. This is not an option if you just want to wind an officer up though!!!
  18. You should have bought him some tissues whole you were in the shop. Then told him to dry his eyes and get a life.
