Bosch mid motor get the best reviews; I bought my wife a Carrera Cross-Fuse .

I remember the C5 very well; I delivered them Merthyr in south Wales to Coventry - Here's my daughter in one on a promotion day for them> she's now in her 40's.

Hmm, where and what type bottle holder for E-bike? Also the the on bike battery connection exposed when battery off bike! Is there a cover or plug to place in or over this connection on the bike frame? if so? Where to get one? Thanks

That's good news, it's an inline 400 Bosch motor; Cube now gone to the bigger motor with 500 and 625 - but the In -Line-400 gets good reviews. Thanks for your reply.

Don't think the Carrera crossfuse has had any bad press from reviews or user forums; all I found was positive comments for the Crossfuse. Bosch Motor and Bosch control System.

I certainly wouldn't do that anyway; none of my own bikes have ever seen a power washer , and hose only on my old MTB. All road bikes I use wet wipes and cloths .

A good choice, I looked at them for my wife; but she didn't like the high front, even on the 15inch frame, so we decided on either a Ribble ALE or a Orbea Gain E, but in the end bought a Carrera Crossfuse E-Bike; and that suits her size wise; although she's not used it yet, waiting for warmer and dryer days.

I'm an old (in my 70's) ex road race competitor; but still riding and building bikes; I've just bought my wife a Carrera Crossfuse, she's not ridden it yet; but will when warmth and dry weather permit, got the bike 2, days ago from Halfords with a bit of discount it was £1550.00 which I thought was a good deal for a Bosch mid motor E-bike. I know nothing about e-bikes or electrics; so maybe get some help and information (when needed) from forum members? Regards Moss
