Woooosh! Zephyr
Managed to get hold of one as new for £380 on Ebay and have "pimped" it. Very impressed with what you get for the money, having owned several comparable machines some of which cost twice as much or more. The perennial problem of too low gearing is the only issue I would raise; here it is in its modified state: new bars, new saddle, no guards. I may even give it a custom paint job as well. thanks, hatti... the bike looks great, will post a review in a day or so

RELIABLE courier required
After FIVE failed collections by "name" couriers, I eventually found a man with a van down the road who picked it up for me no problem whatsoever, the chain couriers are a joke, the drivers do not even have mobile phones so communicating with either the recipient or the sender is next to impossible

RELIABLE courier required
I am still waiting to receive my Woosh Zephyr: Paisley Freight had 2 stabs at collection but ran out of time on both occasions, the same thing happened with a company called ATL Express (I think the "Express" is ironic). Can anyone recommend a good courier service between Kent and Yorkshire?

Woosh Zephyr
Well, I have just purchased an "as new" model still with its warranty on Ebay for £380, so I will review it when I receive it ... with the money I have saved I could purchase a spare battery and (in effect) double the range of the bike

Woosh Zephyr
I am in the market (yet again) for a new folder, and the Zephyr looks hard to beat for the price ... (£499 inc delivery) has anyone on here got one?

18kg Folding Bike with Remote Control
"freely on the stairs": it's better than a dalek .... I love the idea that something weighing 18kg is so light you can just sling it over your shoulder and trot round the supermarket. 18kg is light for an ebike but is still pretty darn heavy... in my experience, just lifting a folding e-bike into the boot is a hernia inducing exercise, you'd certainly not take it on the tube with you...

just took the impulse for a spin... amazing... it is so nippy it hardly needs electrifying ...

best folder
Total change of plan, the gearing is such a problem to me that I have opted instead for a Dahon Impulse P21 in immaculate condition, 21 gears, and a lovely bike for a mere £200... now I note that at some point Dahon produced and Electric version of an Impulse, anyone got any ideas as to how, where, when and how much in terms of converting it to electric, would have to be a front wheel drive as this has hub gears, any thoughts? Don't say do it yourself, cos that is not going to be an option ....

Anyone here with Multiple Sclerosis?
not the same but i have parkinsons and initially stopped cycling ... returned to it a couple of years ago and now find it the one thing i do that makes me forget my condition, of course there was that time i went into the canal, but we won't dwell on that ...

thats a great deal, for me the bag is the clincher, i will probably go for the Secret in black ... a dark secret, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

best folder
shame about the low gearing just reading the review of the secret reminded me of the perennial problem of low gearing on electric folders, every single one i have owned (four at the last count) had ridiculously low gearing, making it impossible to pick up speed downhill, or even cycle at any pace on the flat. Contrast this with, say, the Dahon Speed P8, which manages a phenomenal range of gears on one sprocket, never understand why the elctric ones are geared so low as to make the gears virtually useless... you just stick it in third and control with the motor. I have fed this back to Kudos and Fast4Ward, but the gearing remains as it was... just who out there wants such low gears???

best folder
Amazing conversion Jerry but I imagine a) that cost well over £1000, and b) it is beyond my technical expertise

Crazily enough I have owned one as well if you recall, had to sell it, yes i fancy one in black, how do you get the discount?

best folder
Hi guys, been away for a while, and been bikeless for a while, I am looking to buy a new folder this weekend, and I have a few choices: Kudos Cheetah: I've had one before, they are great fun, a tad heavy Woosh Zephyr: Know nothing about this but i like the look of it and its affordable Fast4ward Edge: Again had one of these, great bike, tad overpriced In the interests of variety I am edging towards the Wooosh, any one ever taken one for a spin?
