This week is one of the important dates in the Spanish holiday season, Benidorm is well known for the spanish flooding into the town the week before Easter, we normally come down for this week for an "english" from Barcelona but due to family commitments up here we probably going down for Corpus Christi this year. Its actually a great place, normally clean, great beaches and full of friendly people, we have never been down in the english tourist season so it will be interesting to try it! It always amazes me how many mobility scooters there are there and i bagged my first double mobility scooter there a couple of years ago! Ride on Madge!!

Had 4 operations on both my knees in the last 3 years and could not ride a normal bike without major suffering now i can enjoy cycling again without most of the pain.

Well Lynda, today after a week of rain (which we need) its nice and sunny here in Sitges, quite warm as well, everything is now starting to burst in to growth, the almond blossoms are all finished up here, my Nectarine has just finished, just waiting now for the Cherry and Apricot to burst and once that happens i know its going to get a lot warmer! cheers Neil

Well originally GO was owned by BA and was set up as an inroad into the cheap flights market.

I've now given up with Ryanair and from Barcelona will now only fly BA back to the UK, I just find its not worth all the aggro you get with them, two years ago i ended up with a swollen knee after the cabin crew banged into it with the trolley with the comment you should put your knees in and not in the aisle, really???? Anyway now fly using BA, Regular scheduled flights, good legroom, no hassle with canceling the flights, they look after you, no luggage hassle, no carry on hassle and always great service from the cabin crew. Yes it costs a little more but its worth it. I wont complain about Ryanair, they fulfill a service but if you pay peanuts you get monkeys! Slightly biased as some of my mates fly the planes for BA!!!
