Ongoing reliability of Kalkhoff/Focus Impulse 2 motors
Once again, the voice of reason. Flecc's calm and considered responses are a lesson to all - both in contentious forum issues and cycling behaviour/etiquette in general. My hero.

At last
Why not get a balaclava? Then you can wear any helmet and keep your ears warm! Its what I have done. Keeps my neck warm as well.

Aggatu
I am an Impulse "1" (crank drive) Agattu owner, coming up to 3 years now and am happy to report no motor faults (or anything else for that matter). The bike is treated with respect and has covered about 3,000 miles to date. If the OP is talking about the much cheaper front hub motor "F" model which Flecc refers to, perhaps not quite so surprising.

Slight concern over Kalkhoff / 50cycles / Focus posts
I have purchased two pedelecs from 50 Cycles. Both were supplied rapidly and with zero defects. Parts were supplied after 18 months under guarantee (minor issue with pedals) and also for damage by a thief. Advice on the phone has also been easily obtained. Customer service to me is excellent and I have recommended them to two friends who have also purchased Kakhoffs with the same favourable experience.

Warranties
Do tell! Just back from a ride on my Agattu and although it still gives power to 17mph it would be good it power could be available a little beyond this speed on occasions.

How good is the Big Bear on hills?
I do actually "get it". It was the precision of the gradient percentages that prompted my comment as there is an immense difference between 12% and 25%. Seems that 12% to 14% is it then?

25% or 12%?

Freego £100 cash back
I would also confirm that my experience of dealing with David Wood at Electrifying Cycles of Cromer was extremely encouraging. Although ultimately I purchased elsewhere (50 Cycles) this was because of my loyalty to the Kalkhoff brand but mainly not living in Norfolk rather than anything else. If I was local there would have been no contest.

Charger for Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse for sale due to theft of bike.
Hi Davie, Thanks for your enquiry but the police recovered my stolen Agattu and the charger is back doing its job! So a bit lucky for me that it was not sold. However, still for sale (forum proving poor from a selling perspective) is a Scott high pressure air forks pump and an unused Revolution brand saddle (very, very comfy). Best regards.

KTM Corner
Do you think my rather sombre coloured Kalkoffs which are currently for sale (classified section) would appeal if I painted the KTM logo on them and covered them in very bright shiny paint? Or is that attitude a little shallow?

3 Kalkhoffs for sale on ebay - all without chargers!
If any forum members are interested in a genuine Kalkhoff "for sale" please check my 2 bikes in the classified ad section! Thanks.

FOR SALE Kalkhoff choice of 2
Here is a clearer image of my FOR SALE Agattu - just been for a ride and it is as impressive as ever! Will be getting a new lock shortly so will be in perfect order for its new owner. Unless the nearly new BS10 appeals in which case I would be just as happy keeping the Agattu - really!

FOR SALE Kalkhoff choice of 2
In response to the negative publicity in the extensive thread relating to the theft of SRS's KTM and the police's actions, I would like to redress the balance by saying that my stolen Kalkhoff Agattu was recovered entirely due to the diligence of the West Yorkshire police and then promptly returned to my home address. So it is not always a bad news story but seemingly these tend to proliferate on the forum. By the way either of my Kalkhoffs remain for sale.

FOR SALE Kalkhoff choice of 2
My Kalkhoff Agattu C8 Impulse HS (2013) was stolen a few months back (reported to the forum) and never expecting to see it again I replaced it with a Kalkhoff BS10. Amazingly a few days ago the police recovered the Agattu and so I now own 2 Kalkhoff e bikes! One will be sold and I am not bothered which. The BS10 is like new (obviously) and the Agattu is truly in first class condition - including battery capacity (just needs a new battery lock as the thief smashed the cylinder out). For any "doubting Thomas's" out there, both bikes were bought by me from 50 Cycles and all purchase documentation is available. I am located in West Yorkshire.

Charger for Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse for sale due to theft of bike.
Clearly you have not (inadvertently) bought not my stolen Agattu then. Charger I have is 36v for the modern Impulse battery. The frame/wheel lock might fit your bike though.

Which model have you bought - crossbar or step through? Frame size? Suspension seat post? Where are you located?

Charger for Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse for sale due to theft of bike.
Nobody wants the Impulse charger or the Kona handlebars it seems. I have also found the Scott air forks pump for the stolen Kona so this is for sale as well as the other items. Still no sign of my electric Agattu or my Kona Caldera but enjoying my new replacement BS10.

Charger for Kalkhoff Agattu Impulse for sale due to theft of bike.
Replaced with Bosch bike so Impulse charger no use to me. Perfect working order (12 months old) with docking station. Also have the lock (which attaches to the frame) for the rear wheel and both keys. You can add a good set of riser handlebars for a Kona Caldera MTB to the for sale list if any one is interested - that bike was stolen as well.

Getting fit again on a Cyclotricity Stealth
Well said Steve. The thing is on this forum your opinion does not seem to count if you are a new member as you can't know anything or must be a troll or employed by the company whose bike you are reviewing. I have looked at the forum today for the first time in several weeks and things are still the same. Its almost a private members club. Enjoy your bike and getting fitter.

Police Officers, The Law & eBikes, funny video attached.
Yes but did the cyclist break the law by riding a red light? Does the RTA apply to cyclists? Can't be done for speeding so perhaps not. Then assaulting the cyclist - unforgiveable but sadly not unbelievable. Perhaps PC should get a list of the donglers and make a start there

Carry on Up the Kudos! Whoare Mistress, threads are being locked again.
First part of my reply was a genuine comment regarding a crass reply to a member's reasonable question whereas the second part of my reply was a JOKE - titter titter or titter ye not as the case may be!

Not sure what you mean at all. I do recall that a member said I would be watched closely when I commented that I was possibly interested in a Woosh bike some time ago but I took that to mean by implication that I had a relationship with Woosh rather than me knocking them in some way. Until the extraordinary bargain in the form of my Kalkhoff from 50 Cycles came along, Woosh were actually the favourites for my cash.
