  1. Is this still available ??
  2. You have a conversation
  3. Allbatteries monday only sale 30% off with CYBERMAN code. Had one of these 3 years ago and it's still going strong. They also have Yamaha & Bosch ones but the 26V batteries seem best value (£ per WH) http://www.allbatteries.co.uk/li-ion-battery-for-electric-bike-panasonic-type-26v-17-6-ah-458wh-aml9121.html
  4. Are any of these still for available ??
  5. Anyone know anything about this http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/36v250w-intelligent-torque-sensor-mid-drive_60241398421.html It has a torque sensor and looks very professional. The company website http://www.xmaxebike.com/ shows some bikes with the kit installed but can't find details of the kit itself.
  6. Have used parkatmyhouse.com before (now called justpark) which worked very well. Whatever next - ridemybike.com which might not involve bicycles at all.............
  7. How much was the customs/DHL charge on the kit??
  8. I was just thinking aloud - gearing plays a big part and HP is the main difference. Torque in ftlbs = HP @ 5252 RPM so the Bafang only produces 1ftlbs at these revs??
  9. Torque on electric motors seems to be quite different to car engines. A Prius electric motor produces 67HP & 295ftlbs so should be very quick off the line but isn't. 160NM is 118ftlbs which on a bicycle sounds pretty dangerous. The 500w midmotor is quoted at 100NM. A Hayabusa motorbike only produces 140NM but 170HP & 750W is only about 1HP. I suppose human power at the pedal on a 170mm crank is about 150NM with a good push. Just thinking aloud but that new bafang motor needs a torque sensor / restrictor. Just noticed there's a MAX drive system which has a torque sensor built in but looks like it needs a custom frame. Competition for Bosch etc.
  10. Not sure if this the correct section for this. The transmission looks very innovative and ideal for a hub gear. The chain wheel can be changed with an adapter from the supplier http://pattersonbike.com/product/pulley-spider-adapter/. It's a bargain price http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/product/detail/aid:442319 from this German supplier.

Have got some of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201074854409 they have a metal clamp plus take a single 18650 Rear light http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logo-Intelligent-LED-Bicycle-Laser-Taillight-Bike-Rear-Light-Braking-Warning-UK-/190865635425?pt=UK_SportGoods_CyclAcces_RL&hash=item2c707a7861 from same supplier imposes a bike pic on the road - bit weird - I like it.................
  12. There appears to be a good choice of these copies for the Panasonic motor and http://www.allbatteries.co.uk/electric-bike-battery/26v-panasonic-system/bh-bike/city.html is based in the UK. At £299 incl. delivery is this good value? Is it common to use 18650's in these copies - the spec. claims 500 cycles plus the guarantee is only 6 months. Anybody used this company before??
  13. What size is the bike & is the motor 36v 500w ??
