We have made it down to Benidorm and have never seen so many ebikes in all my life.....All sorts from cheap and chearful to dutch barges.

Weather superb, 22 last few day and 26 tomorrow. The place is heaving as its Easter weekend and surprisingly full of Spanish! Will probably calm down after the weekend....Lovely safe cycle route into town. there is so much competition for your euros prices are very good in restaurants and bars.

when I eventually find my camera I will take some pics of interesting bikes...

Oh dear Jerry, I'm so sorry:eek:

Its like The Office, almost too embarrassing to watch but addictive in that you know that people like that exists and occasionally you even get a glimpse of yourself :o

the latest series is ever so funny......

I am now after an electric folder, as wife anti e bike at moment and we have the daahub and Dahon folder with us. it is such a palaver getting the daahub of rack as I have it locked up so tight. An electric folder in van would be ideal, just for popping out, an easy fold and back in boot.

I can fit a kit to Dahon, probably cheapest option, or can anyone recommend the best e folder available please? I suppose for compact its got to be a Brompton but 20inch wheel probably better......

Edited by eddieo

I would be happy to supply you with an eZee conversion kit for your Dahon Eddie;)

In the next few weeks, Cyclezee will also have a nice folder available courtesy of eZee and no it is not the Quando;)

Yes I have seen one, no I don't know the weight, but it will have gears, a rear motor and be lighter than the Quando.

We will also have the eZee Street, they are very popular ' down under'.

The standard eZee motor or a lower powered or SB one?

Don't worry Lynda,

All will be revealed in due course, but in the meantime I think you should consider one of these.

Sorry, the photo doesn't do the artwork justice

OOOOOOO.......actually.....I LIKE it .....where....when.......is it Ezee ??

Tell me more :D

Lynda :)

It is very eZee Lynda, and would like to say it has your name written on it, but I would be lying:(

Anne Rosat, the artist and designer of Hermes scarves etc., has her name on it;)

This design will be available later in the year in limited quantities.

I like the artwork. It reminds me of the artwork on the old black Singer sewing machines. It also reminds me of a story I heard about a guy who went to Hong Kong for a holiday. While he was there , he paid to have his name, and his girlfriends name tattooed on his back in Chinese hieroglyphics. He was so proud of it until he showed it to the staff in his local Chinese restaurant. They all fell about laughing. Eventually they explained to him that it actually said "Gay English B`stard"

I am surprised the difference the heat makes to battery performance. have been riding arounds last few days with heavy loads of shopping and sight seeing and still have all the LEDS up on battery..this is very differnt then at home during last few months when LEDs seemed to drop dramatically...it is fairly flat around here though and using low assist as wife on non electric

most e bikes seem to be Chinese generic and there are loads of them around

For Jerry:

Jerry we spotted a Madge lookalike in a bar last night, with an amazing beehive hairdo. having trouble getting picture of my wifes phone but when i do you are in for a laugh.....

This week is one of the important dates in the Spanish holiday season, Benidorm is well known for the spanish flooding into the town the week before Easter, we normally come down for this week for an "english" from Barcelona but due to family commitments up here we probably going down for Corpus Christi this year.

Its actually a great place, normally clean, great beaches and full of friendly people, we have never been down in the english tourist season so it will be interesting to try it! It always amazes me how many mobility scooters there are there and i bagged my first double mobility scooter there a couple of years ago! Ride on Madge!!

About 30 degrees C suits them best Eddie, much of the time we have less than ideal conditions here in the UK. Lucky Spaniards!

The difference is staggering more so I guess with a smaller battery

Yes indeed. If their country wasn't so broke, electric cars would do well there.
