April 30, 201214 yr Experts, on what exactly. One trick pony's that repeat the same old thing over and over. You dont see Kalkhoff, Haibike or Wisper and others carrying on like this. so why should your holy trinity bore us all to death, they must be really desperate. I made someone leave did I.... Ah did ums. Did I escort them out of the building? For heavens sake grow up and stop stirring. Edited April 30, 201214 yr by eddieo
April 30, 201214 yr And I quite like reading Eddie's take on life which puts a little spin on the hum-drum. Ah, the world is such a vibrant mix. A better one would, indeed, have no place for business, however there is lots yet to do before the revolution has any kind of chance... Personally, I plan to spend my millions arming the masses, once the workers' profit shares have been agreed by the committee. (We do actually have such a scheme at JB) But don't panic my capitalist friends: there are many years yet before I can even think about the down payment on an armalite!

April 30, 201214 yr It's called conviction, others call it pride. In the same way as you are strongly convinced about your own choice of bike, I am of our range. ...and I try to be polite about it. Now, Eddie, I think we should both get back to the purpose of these forums: Looking out for those who might need help in my case. You clearly do not need my help.
April 30, 201214 yr For heavens sake grow up and stop stirring. Oh god Eddie you make me laugh some times :D Lynda

April 30, 201214 yr 3E Sport Hi! I started looking at the option of buying an electric bike a couple of days ago for my commute to work. I was planning on cycling to work but, quite frankly, didn't fancy getting there knackered and sweaty with the thought that after 8 hours I'd have to do it all again. Now, this website is great, but the pedelec world gets more and more complex the deeper you go. I do not know which bike to go for or what exactly make a good bike, that's where I hoped you guys would help. Could you recommend a bike based on these criteria? Distance to work: 10 - 15miles (therefore range of at least 30 miles) Price range: £0 - £1500 (a loose range, would be able to go up for the right bike) Speed: I like to go fast Ideally I would like a bike that could be de-restricted and perhaps have the capabilities to reach 20-25mph on my own land. Terrain: Road and canal tow path. Some steep, long hills involved Me: I am 22 with no heakth problems and a decent level of fitness. 5'9". Any more info. you may need to help me out, please ask Thanks Hi Booosh, I would recommend that you take a look at our Sport. For your 30 miles range, our standard battery pack will do and it is upgradable if you need bigger range. When you try it and compare with others suggested by our honourable forum members, you will notice that it is much lighter in weight. Best regards Frankie
April 30, 201214 yr Author Wow... I guess I'll have to research myself then. At the moment I have to admit I'm looking at a Wisper 905SE Sport. Looks great, massive mileage on the larger battery model (56 miles) and within my price range from a decent brand (as far as I'm aware). What are you guys opinions on the Wisper 905SE Sport? p.s I do not work for Wisper

I've never owned, but have rode a Wisper, but in my opinion you are making a pretty smart choice with such a decision. The bike is well regarded by many on here, it's also a nice looking bike & the quality of after sales support from the guys at Wisper is well known by many on this forum. As with any purchase like this I would strongly suggest you take a test ride on the bike before commiting to a purchase, but I think you are making a decent choice here IMO....

I would try and stretch to the 905 SEL model, more powerful Dapush motor, superb XT gearing, Magnesium RST Forks, hollow tech bottom bracket, Alex rims etc..etc..well worth the extra few hundred quid IMO, just try both...
