Hubby tells me that he is using gear 21 out of 21 most of the time on his Vita Uno (Kudos Cobra branded by London Electrics).

What is involved in re-gearing the bike please?

Probably easier to get a more suitable husband.

They don't want us to know, checked both sites and "it has 21 gears" which bleeding ones does it have KD? Seriously that is not up to par.

 

Looks like a 42 tooth on the front? He can go all the way up to 48 from my experience. I would love to have 50 - 38 on the front and say 12 - 32 on the rear ( 26" rear hub motor bike)

Count the teeth on the front large chain wheel and the teeth on the rear cassette smallest/top gear, the front you should be able to go up to a 46t and the rear small gear a 11t. You should be able to swap out the front chain ring for a larger one if it is fitted together with allen bolts, if it is a one piece rivet job then a new chain wheel set will be needed. To go beyond a front 46t another front derailieur may well be required so all can add up to a lot more money.
