November 3, 20178 yr I have an eight year old Powabyke X24 with its original 6AH bottle battery. Not surprisingly the battery now lasts for only about four or five miles. I have looked for a replacement and haven't yet found one with a three pin connector to fit straight on to the bike. Any help would be appreciated. Tony
November 3, 20178 yr Why not have the existing battery re-celled - likely to be a more cost effective solution. Gaz
December 6, 20178 yr I have the same problem. Powabyke are asking £339 for replacement battery. As anyone fitted a similar battery, much cheaper from Amazon or eBay and converted the connections? Very interested in replies. Many thanks, Derek
December 7, 20178 yr Go to these people - very good and helpful. https://www.bga-reworking.co.uk/ Just email them and ask about re-celling. I had a Bosch one done quite recently for a very reasonable price.
