Upright, step-through for around £1200

Featured Replies

Looking at e bikes for my husband. Has back problems occasionally so thinking step through as that's one thing he finds difficult with a high bar when the back is playing up. Also finds upright more comfortable.

Liking the look of the Woosh Santana 3 but not available till December. Anything else similar worth looking at please?

The Raleigh Motus GT and Wisper 705 are also step throughs. Bit more in RRP, but often can be got cheaper than RRP.

If it is still available the best budget buy has to be the Kudos Safari at £700, a fully loaded and kitted out bike though a little heavy with the lifepo4 battery and all the extras. Nexus rear hub gears and a front Bafang pokey hub motor.

Thanks all. Some nice bikes there. The Kudos Safari has also made us look at the Kudos Sonata.
