October 28, 20214 yr Author Like lights on your bike now you can solder, OCD. Yes, well spotted! I have a one track mind alright! I went on a solder related shopping spree last week, kept buying all sorts of solder related things and filled my home with smoke... but it was well worth cutting and soldering together so many different types of wire. I got a bit carried away and soldered speaker cables for the bike, then some more for a garden shed sound system running off a USB bluetooth amplifier, but with bullet connector extensions for different speaker sets (rhythmic drmming helps digging). Board-level detailed soldering is still beyond me, but I'll learn it someday when I need to - like everything else that's useful, that I've ever learned.

I use cheapo grow bulbs for my kitchen windowsill tomatoes - they grow all year round too, because I also use a 25W ceramic bulb as a heater and they're behind a plastic sheet in the window recess - on separate timers for heat and light... all my neighbours think I grow weed. I can't wait to sue the Police, after they kick down my door lol. Edited October 28, 20214 yr by guerney

October 28, 20214 yr Author The only reason I went to such lengths, was because when I tried - they all failed the first year... so I went all out to make them fruit. And they've been growing continuously since 2012!

I just use these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294243852613?_trkparms= I might get this to grow strawberries in the bedroom window recess: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254977972864?hash= ...costs me almost nothing for the convenience of fresh off-the-vine tomatoes, all throughout the year. Even though it's AC - if you wire them wrong, they die a death fast (LED bulbs). I've got three bulbs in series, they've been working for years.

Not that I'm trying to help you - I'm not an accomplice! But I bet tomato feed would work.

That and tomato feed... my plants were absolutely massive, oodles of everything grew this year. Real spring water is full of plant useful minerals, especially from around here. Volcanoes in ages past.

How do you clean the money so you can spend it?
