November 16, 20223 yr Hi, im just enquiring which version of the TSDZ2 Version 1 or V2 as I don’t really want to accidentally try and it get bricked by accident because it not the right controller version. Is there anyway to tell which one I got without opening it up
November 16, 20223 yr Yes quite simple check the voltage on the speed sesnor cable so battery power is needed. See #11 in the thread below, My Cargo bike build. | Pedelecs - Electric Bike Community Probe Gnd & Swim , if you see 5v then it is programmable and an old firmware. If you see 0v then it is new firmware. Edited November 16, 20223 yr by Nealh

November 22, 20223 yr Gnd is ground and Black is Ground / negative , though it doesn't matter with probes as all you will see if wrong is a -5v instead of 5v. V---- 20 range lhs of dial.
