TSDZ2 Is mine unflashable

Featured Replies

Hi,

im just enquiring which version of the TSDZ2 Version 1 or V2 as I don’t really want to accidentally try and it get bricked by accident because it not the right controller version. Is there anyway to tell which one I got without opening it up

Yes quite simple check the voltage on the speed sesnor cable so battery power is needed.

See #11 in the thread below,

My Cargo bike build. | Pedelecs - Electric Bike Community

Probe Gnd & Swim , if you see 5v then it is programmable and an old firmware.

If you see 0v then it is new firmware.

Which probe goes to each one I’m lost and also what setting do I need to set my multimeter C01E002D-0242-4CE4-AC2A-628CD33FA506.thumb.jpeg.b4865a7e6ea8d1783a2fafde1a40b2cb.jpeg

Gnd is ground and Black is Ground / negative , though it doesn't matter with probes as all you will see if wrong is a -5v instead of 5v.

V---- 20 range lhs of dial.

Does the battery have to be plugged in?

Yes , I said as much in #1 .

Other wise how do you think you will get a voltage reading ?
