March 23, 20233 yr Hello I’m currently facing issue with the motor and drop out it not sitting flush it the exact same on both sides any ideas what I can do
March 23, 20233 yr Bicycle drops outs are shaped diferently on the seat area and not the same match for a hub motor axle, typically one has to carefully file or use a dremmel type tool to remove some material from the drop outs. Although your picture isn't very clear /sharp one can see the space /gap on the seat area , one has to very carefully remove material where the hub axle is in contact . Be careful not to leave a square angle , it must be a radius other wise it will fatigue and crack.
