Step through bike for <£1500

Hi, I’m new here, looking for some advice please!

I’m looking for a step through ebike for commuting to work 10 mile round trip, I live in Edinburgh so there’s some steep hills and cobbled streets and lots of rain. I’m asthmatic (worse in colder weather) so looking for assistance on the hills mostly. I would like the battery to be removable as I live in a flat. I’m 5ft 4, female, average weight. Budget is 1,500 but could be pushed if this is not feasible.

Thank you in advance :)

Worth talking to David Wisper Bikes - they often have some ex display models with full guarantee- e.g https://wisperbikes.com/shop/clearance-ebikes/ex-demo-705-se-26-red/

That looks a good option !

Yeah, agreed. I'd recommend the 15AH version for £999, but I'd use some of the money saved to get Woosh to fit hydraulic brakes.

This looks well specced

Shimano Altus 8 speed

Hydraulic Disc Brakes

The battery is a bit small but would be able to do a 10 mile round trip. Could possibly swap to a larger generic battery if you found you wanted to go further afield.

I'd stick with Woosh.

Its UK based, so any early issues can be quickly and easily addressed(unless you are fluent in Chinese, Korean/Taiwanese)

They are supporting members on here for the last 13 years, so far from those 'fly by night' shut down in under a year charlatans
