Is it a belt driven hub ?

Hub weight ?

If about 2.1kg then looks like a AKM100 with belt drive side plate or possibly same thread as a freewheel, hub is likely OEM supplied only.

Good find , i haven't spotted this one before . Company basically asked for custom logo etching and all black hardware as observed .

Currently i have 2 of these and the one that's on the bike started grind and crackle and not torquing anymore, i had this before i fitted the new wheel to the bike btw and tested the old hub pictured and no annoying sounds were made . It worked afterwards anyways and now i face the same thing , bike sat outside all this time not sure if controller taken some droplets of water through the back side , it is slightly angled as it's a bottle style design . The other had the said hole covered and the water drain working as it should , all this summer i had it covered with a silicone rubber piece which i ve lost in transit upon moving house .

I have tried a different display as well , KM 529 and it works like less than a km and failing to work on throttle . To add something up , been stuck on throttle only since the bolts to open up the frame got munched up and not able to swap the belt . Bought and replaced with the wrong teeth count .. now when i got it all right i can't pry the frame and replace the thingie

It looks like an AKM, but the only one I've seen with the cable not coming out of the end of the axle is the AKM 75, and it has designation BBC. There is a Chinese motor manufacturer with BBC in their name, but they don't list motors like that, though that doesn't mean that they didn't make it. I need more photos and dimensions.

All such motors work the same, so it makes little difference.

Why do you want to know, and why isn't it built into a wheel, when it's clearly been used?

I found this similar one, but you'd need to check sizes:

I need to know if it's geared ( nylon wheels ) cause i used my bike with a throttle for a while and although i m just 56kg i believe the motor did not like it that much on the uphills , after not even 200 meter the hub sounds like it's got loose bearings of some sorts but will be absolutely silent when pulling the throttle from a standstill non loaded and of course after i have not ridden it at all . The one pictured is just the old one which i've replaced just because i found a whole wheel with the very same model via Ebay and the rim and it's nipples were busted anyways . I'm planning to have it on my little brother's Orbea MX20 and now that a problem has occured on my main bike it would be wise for me to know what happened and if i can rely on these motors anymore before spending £65 with SJS cycles for a wheel build

It's a geared motor. The grinding noise it makes under power is a problem with the controller, not the motor. Which controller are you using. You get that problem when the pulses of power from the controller can't synchronise with the position of the motor so have the wrong timing.

Is it a sensorless motor? How many pins in the connector?

Now we have more info on the possible fault, it certainly sounds typical of a motor controller issue and one out if sync.

It's a Lishui LSW1488-34-4F , bottle style controller and is potted however i think the lady from Lishui got me the last piece they have made as i have recently got in touch again to make sure i secure an additional one as a spare and i got told the casing is almost EOL ( end of life ) . This particular one has the water drainage hole at the back uncovered , i did not see this unit before hand all she wanted to know is my old label from the controller which btw i could plug in later one if i can find it . That one cable which connects the accesory loom is a bit damage which i've resoldered , it still works and i will def test with it .

Can't tell if it's sensored , basically it's silent not loud like the kits kids buy these days and terrorize the civic centres . It has a 9pin connector

£32 wasted and the shipping fee of £22 or £25 .

I ve found my old controller with the munched up accesory loom connector which it has an externally attached soldered wire to make it work , the motor is behaving normally now with this .

Lishui hq is somewhat weird to deal with , since i got like a prototype with this weird hole instead of being covered and also without the guide rail and holding strap for the battery , it wasn't even potted / silicone waterproofed against water ingress i guess as the old one is bomb proof , i did open it to have look .. think Analog Motion done the work for the factory for sure at their London HQ . Anyways, the lady at Lishui said the shell is about to be EOL so will likely move to KT , maybe a dual motor config since i do Deliveroo and do grocery orders time to time , any advantages to these 48v controllers or should i stick with 36 .

Finally found out what's up with it , it's a custom shell ( not confirmed by anyone just got a spec sheet from a dealer over at Lishui ) of AKM100SX(R2/RC2) so not the wavy model from Tongsheng-e.com . I've been informed i can buy spare nylon gears if i please to do so however i can't seem to get prices from this contact
