Hello Dave,

Can you see any labels or product numbers on the controller?

I'm no expert but I've been doing a bit of Googling.

The G20 24v display uses No.2 Communication Protocol (UART2) and is commonly used with JN controllers which use the same protocol.

Therefore any 24v display that uses UART2 Protocol should work.

OK, so it's not a JN controller then.

Sorry, I'm out of ideas, apart from the obvious which your customer doesn't want to pay for.

Santroll are OEM only so pairing up any similar looking display will likely be unfruitful.

There is an outside chance that a used one may appear on Ebay/

The issue is with software/programming compatibility.

Thanks Nealh, I thought as much I've looked around eBay with no luck, I'll see what I can do for him controller/display replacement

I'm pretty sure that those things are pre-programmed with the wheel size to get the correct speed cut-off. Have a loo, at the back to see if it has a designation number with the wheel size in it. If it does, that's another constraint you have to consider. It's probably easier and cheaper to replace the controller with one that has a programmable LCD.
