There is a share button at the top where the thread title is but yes it appears you can share the thread but not an individual post within in.

The crossed out T only seems to be available for your own content. It's greyed out when you try and select text within a quote. I suspect there may not be a way around this but I can report it to Invision and see what they say.

Ignore that, I just tried making some text in a quote bold and that button appeared.

Is the magifying glass zoom function for images gone in desktop view? There's fondle pinch and and zoom in fondleslab view - is there a setting somewhere to enable an icon for zooming in for PCs and laptops lacking the fondle feature? Some of us detest the mobile internet and all the calamities it has caused.

I've just tried on Chrome and Safari desktop and the magnifying glass appears when hovering over images. Doesn't appear to be any way to further zoom/in out on the magnified image.

Linus Tech Tips also uses Invision Community, and the magnifying glass appears even on my Firefox ESR on Win 7. Click the image, hover to activate the magnifying glass, clicking the image then opens the image in a new tab, for image zoom in/out by browser. Images in this post for example:

There's gotta be a switch to enable that somewhere. We need to behold zoomed builds in all their greasy grubby glory. An easy workaround is to simply right click and open the image in new tab, then zoom with the browser on PC, or pinch/zoom and fondle gleefully on mobile, or use image browser addons etc. If it's another bug, they owe you cold BTC bounty.

Seems with Invision 5 that the behavior is now dependent upon the browser/OS and desktop/mobile.

I wonder if Linus Tech is still using Invision 4.

I wondered if Linus is using an older vesrion - is that still supported with security patches?

I've tried viewing large images on our forum with Vivaldi, my most modern desktop PC brower on Win 7... and the magnifying glass doesn't appear on hover. Right click and open in new tab, to "CTRL" and "+" key zoom it is then...

Yes looks like v4 is still getting updates.

I've tried it on Mac Safari, Chrome and desktop PC Win 11 Chrome and Edge, all show the magnifying glass.

I'm often seeing this 508 error when trying to view threads at the mo. Also "Choose files" uploader doesn't always load, requires browser refreshes to eventually appear. Pedelecs.co.uk needs more compute resources allocated during busy times?

I saw that this morning.

There was a message saying the site had used up all of ts allowance of resources.

It was a momentary glitch, because when I refreshed the page it behaved normally.

I only saw that once, at about 9 this morning.

I just got the same message for the first time. When I refreshed, it went away, and the first post I saw was this one about it - weird!

OK reported will update in a bit.

Update: OK apparently Apple and Bing hammering the site this morning.
