    that's a current shunt error according to a magic list on https://www.bafangusadirect.com/Articles.asp?ID=261 is a us:( it gives a list of error codes check for water in the throttle but I suspect controller fried :oops:

    It has anti turn washers the wheel has never come loose but the chain is never quite right this is my fourth alfine bike over the last 10 years take it from me this solves chain problems the only time you touch the chain is to replace it after thousands of miles other than a drop of oil first...

    That's not a derailleur it is an alfine chain tensioner , takes the whip out of the chain under power and makes sure the tension is always correct saves the need for chain adjusters also helps front chain wheel alignment and enables a quick swap down to a 36 front if required it is a hand built...

    I agree but we get what we pay for with the bbs a basic mid drive with no frills :) but once you learn a few howto tricks and do simple adjustments it comes to life more smiles per pound

    I changed the front forks on a trike so I could fit a disc on the front if the chain is driven on a free wheel I have an adaptor that allows a rear disc to be fitted and the free wheel refitted but a band brake if adjusted correctly should work my guess is oil or other contamination a good...

    It only takes a bit of practise once you do a few builds, you cannot walk past a normal bike without thinking will a motor fit does the battery go in that gap. The best thing was the build only took a day and all worked to out first go
