    Hi no it is a 36 volt version so I did not have to change the battery but it does have the throttle and brake cut outs got a very good price at the PSWPOWER web site £265 [335 $ ]plus delivery from the eu arrived quickly with vat paid

    The new 5 speed alfine designed for ebikes is supposed to be out soon had a cube with a alfine 11 with a gates belt not bad but the cost of the rear cog and a new belt ouch not to mention the split rear stay frame new bike was £800 belt and cog £300 + if you can find them out side the US

    It might be designed for both but spacers are sometimes required to clear the frame and get a chain line ,just because the bb is 73mm does not mean it will fit every time a lot depends on the frame design

    I took a tape measure in and a cardboard cut out of the battery to Halfords :p the voodoo looks tight but I think it might be ok if not,:oops::rolleyes: it might need a file or the angle grinder and a spacer on the other side

    The 73mm problem is overcome by the use of just one or the nuts and loads of Loctite or buy or make something like a California e bike bracket have used the on a voodoo zobop with success
