These helmets do look like they give better protection than a normal cycle helmet.... although i should imagine they are hot in the summer. Although neither will apply to me as i rarely wear a cycle helmet anyway.

Everyone has their own opinion of what system is best, whether that be front or rear hub or crank drive. You really have to decide yourself. Personally i've become fussy on how a system looks on a bike (probably got a bit of ocd) and the look of the front hub motor on my bike bugs me...

I always view forums like a local pub..... there will always be people there that talk about things that dont interest you, or even annoy you. Some will be interesting, some boring. Some intelligent, some are cretinous morons. Takes all sorts..... and its a lot easier to ignore them in a forum...

For the front I use one of those cheap Ultrafire Cree Chinese torches, the ones that take a single AA battery and just have a holder for it on both my bikes..... and a cheap led on the rear. It does me fine.... might not be good enough for some tho.
