I think each section will be continuity checked/stress tested and any rejects will be soldered up before final assembly into the battery.

Any lipo expert know is it possible to work out how many aH used of a battery from this info - 12s 8000mah lipo's started journey at 4.1v per cell and ended journey getting down to min volts of 3.73v per cell settling at 3.76v.

Just curious, would that LCD work with an S12S or S06S controller. It plugs on but has slightly different color wires matching.

Thanks d8veh, which of those methods would be the better one to fit onto the existing brake sensor connector at the controller,or will it depend on the number of wires it has? The controller will probably be an S06S Would this be a correct type of hall sensor...

I would like to rig up an alternative to the hwbs sensors on my brakes. With my new found soldering skills what other methods are there I could have a go at.

Crikey, I spotted 3 motors and probably a large 30ah pack of lipo's on the back. Might as well rename it the Carrera Rocket. Nice.

I soldered my controllers shunt as in the photo's and the amps increased about 4or5 amps which made a noticeable difference.

If I change my battery permanent to 12s lipo 44v is there a way to change the battery level gauge on a BMSBattery LCD1 to reflect the new 44v nominal voltage? I looked at the advance settings but being Chinese to English translated I don't really understand them.

I see, I've never used paraffin before and I thought it was like a solvent based liquid which was degreasing the old oil/dirt off the chain and then evaporates off afterwards leaving it dry. So I am OK to just wipe the paraffin off as best as I can and re-oil even if some paraffin is still on...

Thanks for all the chain cleaning advise. I've now got some hypoid-ep90 oil and some paraffin, enough for a lifetime so now just need a quick weekly routine to swap chains. I have found the paraffin has not evaporated off which I thought it would and my wife not being happy about it going in...
