Thinking of purchasing a Bosch Nyon for maps & change motor setting

I thought that you said that you can't use Strava because it drains your mobile phone battery? Ref GPS, I just use OS Map Finder, but might well get a Satmap at some stage when one comes up at the right money.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

You want to pay £13.00 for an approximate 70mm gain, and the added hassle of having the steerer tube top cap covered. That one isn't for me.

Thinking of purchasing a Bosch Nyon for maps & change motor setting

I'm about to sell my Nyon if you fancy a used one. Having said used, the console is new, and has the latest updates added.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I seem to be getting plenty of saddle time in. Yet another ride tonight. Just two of us ended up going out, and yep, it was very muddy. Mid ride mechanical issues with my mates gears held things up a bit, and we traced it to moisture which was starting to freeze within the cable. Then within...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I could have done with some of those dry routes this afternoon. The overnight snow and ice had pretty much all but gone, and left a really horrid mess behind. It was quite a struggle today, and whilst the ride was only 17.7 miles long, I only had one bar of battery remaining, and that was after...

    Leaving the EU

Interestingly, the above cropped up over Xmas lunch. My wife is Half German, and as it does when German friends and relatives are over, the conversation in a very light hearted way, turned to WWII. Being born in 1966 I'm not old enough to remember any of the hardship that my parents had to face...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I can't believe just how dry that it all looks. I'm very envious. :( How many miles was the route? I dragged the old girl out of the shed this morning, to give it a thorough clean. With three night rides this week, including one very late one, cleaning hasn't been on the agenda. I haven't...

New 2016 Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB looks good

I've used bike-discount.de on many occasions, and cannot fault the service offered. Delivery times have frequently bettered UK based companies, and from my own experience, goods are received within a few days of purchase..

Turning the Intuvia back light off at night time

It's probably as clear as day, and in truth I haven't yet played with the settings, but before I do, is it possible to turn the Bosch Intuvia display back light of at night time? I have no interest in seeing what is on the display and find that it is becoming a distraction. I could just put...

Guess what, another night ride. By fook, was it icy and cold tonight!

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Certainly a different colour to that of your lovely snow. I'm very envious. :) I don't really mind too much what the conditions are like, I just love getting in some saddle time. The only time that I get fed up, is when mud or leaves start to block the rear chainstay area. The good thing at the...

Bosch eBike Diagnostic Software for sale

Bosch don't run courses for business users for no reason. It's all well and good buying that kit, but you/anyone outside of the trade would very quickly be stuffed to know how to use it. It's a worthless bit of kit, without correct training and direct telephone contact with Bosch support.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Tonight's ride was one of those rides where everything just clicked into place, and felt superb. The conditions were terrible, with deep mud, deep water, and sleet and rain, but I didn't let this didn't deter me. I actually came close to not going out at all. The motivation just wasn't there...

Am I taking this hobby too seriously?

Especially if you compared the cost to that of a space heater. Fordulike, I wouldn't advise getting one on the these anywhere near to a Haibike, as you would melt the cable ties that hold the suspension together, but it would probably work on any other brand*...

    Cycling kit - bewildered!

ocb, for night time use, anything that has Scotch Brite 3m built into it is a good safety option. As is fitting 3m stickers to the bike if doing road work. Places such as Mountain Warehouse are good source for cheap reliable waterproof jackets. My only complaint being, that the jackets often...

Looking to Start Building and Selling Ebikes in My Area

Here is one for you to either laugh at or not. For those that are already in the trade, I recently spotted what I thought could be two new advertising mediums. The first for pedelecs, the second for pedal only cycles. I was sitting in the waiting room at my local orthopaedic hospital a month...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

SW, the boots are Gore tex and are brilliant at keeping water out. If required, I also have seal skinz socks and over shoes. All are good at keeping water out, but none prevent water from running down you legs and then inside. I live pretty close to the Nikwax office/store, and used to get the...
