Nice purchase Jerry. I was wondering how long the Dahon jetstream would stay on ebay. So 1,5 days before it gets sold :)

    New Kudos Secret bike

Yeah, it seems that it's a single speed bike. I'm not sure if it's direct drive or not because the motor is quite small. However the bike weight 19kg. 22kg is the gross weight (when the bike is inside the box)

    New Kudos Secret bike

It reminds me the stealthy bike from Conhismotor: http://www.conhismotor.com/ProductShow.asp?id=221 There are also other concept that worth exploring Something such as the 9KG Noah HK: view source Or even a strida allowing a real portability and compactness on public transport: Viez...

New Super Light Tongxin Motor Design/Kit

On their website they adverstise 105km for 413wh battery: motor roller motor disc brake motor battery battery charger control sensor To do that, the motor would only use 3.9wh/km. This is REALLY low. I suppose on real life using that should be closer to 7wh/km and probably 10wh/km on...

    Good metal worker in london?

Ok, I thought the number of amps was proportional to the pressure applied on the throttle.. So even at minimal pressure, it still delivers full amps?

Is there a way to prevent the wheelies? for example if I completely bend my body to the front, lower the seat and put the batteries and locks on the front?

Zombiess in endlessphere has a small wheel bike at 70 mph. He says it was more stable than full sized bike. But I don't have scientific basis to support that. I'll probably cycle around 20-25mph max, the problem is that I don't know at what speed I'm comfortable. So better plan for "more" and...

    Good metal worker in london?

Actually smaller wheels bike are more stable than big wheels. Problems are more on potholes at higher speed but I'm not sure at what speed I'm confortable yet. On my actual 26" mountain bike, I'm at 22mph but I'd like to go faster and I'm highly missing the acceleration. Will see how it goes on...

    Good metal worker in london?

Yeah I trust in John too. Actually I may dump 2000W on it during start (hope the motor is not going to melt) but I may stay far below 30 mph. maybe around 22-25mph so little less than 1000W continuous. I'm now thinking about also getting the BPM (so long to wait for the BPM2 :() if I don't...

    Good metal worker in london?

I already sent the bike with the motor Jerry. Somehow this is maybe better because it's easier to see if it folds correctly once widened. Thanks for your help Jerry and a special one for John

    Good metal worker in london?

my big issue is that if I do that, it's going to bend on the nuts area between the fork and the frame: This is the only "connecting" area between the frame and the fork. I'm not sure the bike would still be ok if I fragilize this area.

    Good metal worker in london?

Actually, as expected it seems that it was the forkend that bended rather than the entire fork: http://mistymornings.net/blogs/mm/?p=45 So the rear fork isn't maybe not as strong as it should be. Maybe not good if I use a motor with good torque. It may break at the forkend area during...

    Good metal worker in london?

Yeah, I've just seen him spreading the fork with just an axle: http://mistymornings.net/blogs/mm/?p=45 Maybe I could do that too?
