    Good metal worker in london?

That's a good idea Dave. I have no real experience with a drill and neither about opening a motor. Not sure if I'm good enough to do that yet. And the brompton rear fork width is 112 mm. Not sure if that may work either. So maybe for now it's better to extend it to 135mm. So I can also fit...

Your preference Flecc. People won't type naturally "Flecc" on google unless they are looking specifically for you. If your goal is to acquiere new customer, you should target keyword such as "ebike" or "electric bike". A domain name isn't really expensive (maybe 15£/year?), so that's a little...

    Flecc's websites have moved

Flecc, if you are specialised in selling and customizing e-bikes, you should have a domain name that let people think you're selling bikes. Something such as custom-ebikes.co.uk for example. You would have more people going to your website from search engine.

    Good metal worker in london?

Jerry that's fine, I've noticed the typo ;) Scottyf, I wouldn't mind sending the bike to Birmingham if I can get it sorted that way. It's not that far from London. But I'm still trying some london metal shop first.

    Good metal worker in london?

Thanks Jerry. My project seems complicated. Not sure how it will fold afterward with a heavy motor.. but first, get it sorted lol.

    Good metal worker in london?

It seems there is something I can unscrew. But not sure. Anyway, it's better to work with the entire bike to make sure it can still fold correctly with the wider dropout.

    Good metal worker in london?

That's what proposed the frame builder, to completely change the rear fork to something new. But he charges 400£+!!! That's more expensive than my bike!! I live in London, it shouldn't be that hard to find someone able to do that here. :(

    Good metal worker in london?

I prefer rear motor because I have more motor choice, I only need single speed gear (and that can make my bike lighter), it's more stealthy and I can do wheelies. But if there is no other choice I'll probably get the Crystalyte G209.

    Good metal worker in london?

Neptune, I had this brompton second hand for £270. I deliberately purchased the cheapest possible because I intend to do deep modification. I was considering using a car jack but I probably need to remove/cut the crossbar first and weld it again later. Problem is that I don't have any welding...

    Good metal worker in london?

Thanks Andrew for the address. Croydon is quite far from where I live. I'll have to post my bike there and that may be quite expensive. Is there some metal worker closer to central london? I just know the frame is steel, I purchased it second hand (the bike is from 2006) so I don't know if it's...

    Good metal worker in london?

Hello there, I'm having hard time widening my brompton rear fork from 112mm to 135mm. Does any of you know a good metal worker in London able to do that for less than £100? I had a quote from a bike frame builder at 200-400+£ juste to widen the fork, it's way too much! I also meet a metal...

My battery lost 1/3 of its capacity

Update on my battery today, I used it until low voltage cut-off: - I used a total of 275wh with a weather of 10C in London. So I have about 75% of battery total capacity. Still wondering if the capacity will be higher during summer at 25C.
