    Snow & Boredom

I have a set of new 26" Ice Spikers that are now redundant and might be up for grabs. I have also just found a place selling bargain basement priced 650b Ice Spikers but can't now convince myself that it is worth it just for a few days of the year. I could have done with them today though! The...

    Ouch!

I'm glad that it hasn't put you off, and as TK has said, hopefully it won't be too long before you are back out there again. :)

    Getting Specialized Turbo in uk

Just don't go adding a rack, mudguards or anything else that'll add weight and spoil the good looks. I'd also remove the lights if it were mine. .

    KTM Corner

In truth, I reckon that you dropped a 5p coin and went back to find it. ;) It reminds me of my cutting the lawn one.

    Ouch!

Bigclick, one aspect that could also be worth checking now is that your wheels aren't buckled. That must have been one hell of a hit, and I've certainly buckled a front wheel hitting less than you sadly did. All credit to whoever manufactures the frame as well. That must have put a fair bit of...

Can anyone identify this Panasonic Motor / thing?

I'm going for a bottom bracket torque sensor, for a front hub motor. With those lugs, it must be very model specific though. "Tretlager" being bottom bracket?

Bosch Nyon Issues?. New substantial update: Jan 2015

I also suffered the same issue as you in relation to knocking the joystick on the handlebar control. Solution... Ride with SRS, mention it to him, and within seconds he said "well loosen it and move it in a bit" A solution like that was far to simple for me to have come with. Thanks to SRS, I...

Thanks Kinninvie, frustratingly I am going to do exactly the same ride again tomorrow. I couldn't have set Strava when I left yesterday, and as daft a sit sounds, I like to keep a track of the rides completed, so I'll just have to do it all again. :) A Satmap is about to be ordered up, then I...

    Thinking of getting bike

Always good to here a follow up report. Sadly so few people do it, which is a real shame. Keep enjoying it. :)

Another day and another ride. I had intended to visit the South Downs again today, but the winds were too high for me to want to risk it. High enough that we have several tree limbs snapped clean off and there was further evidence of how strong that wind had been from todays ride. I encountered...

    Ouch!

Bloody hell, you can officially now change your username to Bigkudos. I can't believe that the seat post bent. Sitting here cross legged!

    Strava Electric Bike Club

I have no idea how it really works. The section that I just couldn't get up and kept slipping back down on, as shown in the photo is this section.

Nah, the bike is light enough not to need two wheels on the ground at the same time. A simple wheelie and counterbalance are all that's required. In my dreams in respect of the second statement!! ;)

Mrs J has bought me something for Xmas that I have wanted for sometime, but didn't want to have to buy for myself. :) A Park Tools handlebar holder.

Thinking of buying Kalkoff S10 2015 model "any other recommendations i would be grateful"

I also had both issues with the Xtrem. I could kill a battery in roughly 12 miles using only eco mode, and also used to eat chains at a rapid rate. My chain eating had alot to do with my use of the bike, rather than chain quality, and I had been known to get as little as approx 100miles of use...

Thinking of buying Kalkoff S10 2015 model "any other recommendations i would be grateful"

Mac_user82, as D8veh has said, you simply turn the bike over. The only thing that I would say, is that you do need to either remove the handlebar control console, or place something between the bar ends and the ground to prevent damage. Admittedly that aspect could be a pain, but the actual...

Thinking of buying Kalkoff S10 2015 model "any other recommendations i would be grateful"

Can't help with the Kalkoff, but I would say that your BH dealer is incorrect. It takes less than five minutes to remove and re fit the rear wheel on a NEO Xtrem, and looking at Youtube clips, the same could be said for the Cross. Just dab a bit of white correction marker onto the motor cable...

Not much to report about for the Xmas day morning ride. Just a chilled 17 mile ride with my cousin, which saw me once again relegated to the pedal bike. Just bringing it out of the shed makes me smile, so I'm not complaining. :) We did have something slightly tarnish the ride, when someone in a...
