Who is right and who is wrong? - How taxpayers money is wasted!

Most cyclists do have a driving license, but this is honestly one of the most stupidest things you have said on this forum to date. I know you're no fool, so this can only be described as just downright lazy, garden variety trolling. I have always been a proponent of yours and have enjoyed your...

    selling batteries

What Neal is saying, is that if you duplicate the wiring and connectors on both batteries, you'll be able to simply swap one for the other.

    selling batteries

I think somebody would take them off your hands for £30, but postage will cost you £15+. I'd accept a fiver each for cash on collection, if only to avoid the hassle of having to mail them.

News: Tern launches Vizy radial rear light

It doesn't mean that the emitter is directly visible from in front past where the red light is projected onto the ground. Also, the white light appears to come from a separate unit mounted on the bars and has nothing to do with the rear light. And yes, the laser projectors are useless junk.

News: Tern launches Vizy radial rear light

The light that will be seen from the front is a diffuse reflection from the ground, rather than directly from the emitter itself. Surely this is no different from the white light emitted from a front light that illuminates the surroundings and can also be seen from the rear. I think that this...

Bike not working after battery replacement...Help please !!

There appears to be an echo in here and in other threads..... I think I've been added to d8veh's ignore list. ;) I wonder what I did to deserve that?

Bike not working after battery replacement...Help please !!

Try using a short piece of wire and stuff it in the back of the connector so to bridge the thick and thin red wires.

Bike not working after battery replacement...Help please !!

Have you joined the the ignition wire on the main power connector (thin red) with battery +ve (thick red)?

    Xiongda Motor?

I think you're right. The more I think about it, the less I think this frame is suited to a rear hub conversion. What it's crying out for is a mid-drive.

    Xiongda Motor?

I'm not sure the CF swingarm is suitable. The thicker motor axle will require that the dropouts be made deeper and I'm not sure that this will be do-able. EDIT: I've just had a closer look and it appears your dropouts might me made from a different material. Is this the case? If so, what are...

‘Quantum Leap’ in Battery Innovations Presented at Eurobike

I'd rather have to fiddle with my battery once, rather than at every charge and every ride, but each to their own I guess. EDIT: If I'm being totally truthful, I neither use a BMS nor lipo alarms, but still bulk charge and haven't balanced my packs in over six months. I'd never reconmend it for...

‘Quantum Leap’ in Battery Innovations Presented at Eurobike

Nothing stopping you from ditching the LiPo alarms and hooking up a BMS instead.
