    Trade disputes on Pedelecs!!!!

Just read the thread. Interesting discussion. "Introduce yourself", normally a friendly spot, was probably the wrong place for a "discussion" about "plagarism" but I've no problem with it.

    Trade disputes on Pedelecs!!!!

Hi Stumpi - Any particular threads? I confess I don't read them all so I may have missed some bad ones. Personally I'm quite happy with the occassional bit of banter from suppliers. The off road thread I found quite interesting. I feel the balance is about right.

    Electric Bicycles - Beijing

Speaking as someone in the middle of the midlands - I agree the pace of life is too fast, noisy and stressful:( The traffic has slowed, somewhat, down in the last 10 years though. Pace of life, prime suspects for me is still the PC and mobile phone and their application rather than the car...

How about a neat little enamel badge with the pedelecs web site symbol we could wear when we visit Presteigne. i'm struggling to get to 1000 posts.

Yeah me too. 5th time this year sounds about right for me as well. Great start to March though.:)

    Cyclamatic Folder...5 days on!!

Low temperatures have a negative effect (though temporary) on battery performance as well. I was surprised your bike didn't have the same problem at -2C if it had been out in the cold all day. Maybe it was a combination of low temperature and battery learning cycle the first day with the battery...

Nahhhhhh. Else you could count carrying the e-bike in the boot of the car or on the roof rack at 80 mph - even the train. What if you cycled down the aisle of a train moving at 80 mph? :D I think you have to specify rider, e-bike, and bike tyres moving in contact with the road surface with...

Anonymous poll: what is your age ?

Your average 17 year old, these days, gets chauffeur driven. I know.

Sounds like a hedonistic holiday event for over 50 e-bikers.

    James May reviews the Gocycle

That is cheap. I see there's 11 reviews of the non folder Cyclematic on amazon.co.uk. Concerns seem to be weight, difficulty and cost of replacement batteries, removing the back wheel and rusting steel bolts. No reviews of the folder. Still looks like good fun and value for money to me.

    Advice for wannabee eBiker!!

As if..:D I agree. The range is way too low for your regular commute. It would work as a backup for the Wisper but you'd have to recharge at work or get a second battery. Cytronex do fit racks and mudguards to their bikes if you request (Cytronex Powered Claud Butler Urban 500 & Genesis Day...

Not if you costed my total time spent - I'm sure. I struggle with flatpacks.

    James May reviews the Gocycle

"Goes like a stabbed rat" What does that mean? It crawls away painfully slow? :D Agree with Lemmy except technically you can get wife and 2 kids in a Smart car but it ain't legal. I'd buy a Gocycle for £1500 if I wanted one but, personally, it doesn't appeal to me. If you have the need, and...

    Your ideal electric garage ?

No big fan myself. Here's some "charming" hotel notices from around the world::D Hotel room notice, Chiang-Mai, Thailand: PLEASE DO NOT BRING SOLICITORS INTO YOUR ROOM. Hotel brochure, Italy: THIS HOTEL IS RENOWNED FOR ITS PEACE AND SOLITUDE. IN FACT, CROWDS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD FLOCK...

    Your ideal electric garage ?

Add a brompton like Daniels and that would be my choice too. Any more would be clutter.

    Company ebikes?

Off thread but I have to say that Supersix is a real beauty. Just shown the pic to a colleague and cyclist who couldn't tell it was an e-bike. Did it come with the 175rpm motor?

    Cytronex Cannondale On eBay

Congratulations. SuperSix & Synapse I really would love either of those bikes. (green smiley) Make sure you lock it up well.

    Top Service from Cytronex

Impressive. I've always found Cytronex very responsive. :) Why the 160rpm? More torque for uphill?
