A surprisingly large number of connectors on that controller, if that's the real one and not just a generic pic for the Ad. If there is just a battery 1, a motor 2, a throttle 3, an on/off switch 4, but also has brake cutouts 5 and light 6. Good for simple 1 speed bikes. No need for display 7...

Bring back real steel, chrome moly is light & supple, yes? And coz it doesn't fatigue, it can be thinner, even for cargo bikes. But I'm no metallurgist, so should do research before spouting off, hehe :-). Cheers. Mikel

When you say "tow my 2yr old" would you mean in a trailer, or in a child seat? This makes a difference to what bike is most suitable, whether you need a crossbar model or not, etc. This shop seems to specialize in child carrying equipment...

Thanks, that's v.useful, shows how to change some things, like trip & odo. Changing the wheel diameter to a smaller value might raise the max wheel rpm, while speed display would also presumably then be incorrect (too low). The current while pedalling on level5, 14.4-15.5mph is presently shown...

I'm using an 806SE which does exactly the same thing. On Assist level5, goes to 15.5ish mph fine, then motor torque stops, speed falls to 14.4ish, and torque comes back on full suddenly, back up to 15.5ish, off, on, off.. etc. Gets annoying as it seems willing enough, and a smooth tail off would...

Well, the 3rd? new charger supplied by Wisper via dealer last week, appears to have charged the battery from 2leds to 4leds out of 4 on battery's indicator. And the charger's light changed from red to green, hallelujah. So we'll see how it goes tomorrow.. Cheers. Mikel

I like the idea of a proper reflector with beam pattern. Scattered light annoys other road users. More efficient use of battery too. But when they approach at 100kph with headlights on full beam, i want to see where I'm going too! Cheers. Mikel
