    bike cutting out

I try and approach problems with a minimalistic view these days. I've spent hours ripping stuff apart in the past, only to find that the solution was a lot simpler. One example which is similar to the OP's problem, was when a previous bike would conk out under load. I spent ages checking...

    bike cutting out

What I was trying to convey, is that there may be poor electrical conductivity due to the battery contacts opening up over time. Doesn't necessarily have to happen over rough ground, as the poor contact has already occurred over the months/years. The battery and docking station is pretty plop...

Hoverboards Again, and Their Uses in Crime.

Are they really that dangerous? Anyone on here have any experience of riding one?

new bottle battery cannot be removed from frame cage easily

Sorry to be the giver of bad news, but that's how that particular battery connects I'm afraid. No docking station! http://www.yosepower.com/Products/Electric-bicycle-Battery/101713.html

    bike cutting out

You mention the connections are clean, but one of the problems I found when I owned one, was the connections opening up on the battery. This is caused by a fair bit of up and down play in the docking station, when the bike travels over rough ground. Try bending the contacts on the battery...

Haibike Fully 2014 - Caution: Loose rear screws!

You'd think that as this seems like a regular occurrence, Haibike would jump on the case to provide a solution. Dropping out within 40km's is not acceptable for such a high-end brand. KTM + 1

    A-Bike Electric *finally* arrived!

It might not be such a face planter as we all think. The seat is positioned quite far back, so it might ride over the potholes pretty well. The video looks like it was filmed in London, so surely they did lots of testing on the London roads, which aren't amazing BTW. Get some Schwalbe Fat...

    A-Bike Electric *finally* arrived!

And something else that is good. I looked on their website, expecting this bike to be £1000 plus, but £699.99  that's amazing value for such an ingenious design.

    A-Bike Electric *finally* arrived!

I've not ridden one Reggie, but that does not sound right at all. I would get it exchanged under warranty, for peace of mind, coz something like that does not get better. I don't know the exact details of distance selling regs, but you should be able to get an exchange, or you can reject it and...

Ebay seller ' Electric Bike Conversions ' seem to be doing well :)

Blimey, you didn't arf brainstorm for questions lol I'll have a bash at answering a few, but bear in mind that some answers are only opinions and other members may have different views. I personally wouldn't fit a front wheel kit on carbon forks. I've read they are more prone to failure than...

Wanted someone in england to wire up my ca3

The way I look at it, and I may be totally wrong, is like this: The GND (Black) and the V+ (Red) receive the voltage of the battery that is connected to your controller. The CA circuit board within the display, uses this voltage to display functions like 'battery voltage', but steps down the...
