Can someone recommend a decent mini pump please

The size and design is just what I'm looking for. If it's the same one that d8veh owns, then I might give it a go ;)

Poo, I forgot you mentioned that you didn't have a good time with the Lezyne. Now I'm having doubts about it...... My head hurts :p

Can someone recommend a decent mini pump please

Yeah, you're right about the pump bit lol. Unfortunately, the car foot pump has an end like this: Once on the valve, one flips the plastic lever down to lock it on. Trouble is, once you have enough air in the tyre, flipping the lever up to release the end, causes all the air to start pissing...

Can someone recommend a decent mini pump please

I've been using a car foot pump to inflate my bicycle tyres, but I find the schrader end attachment a bit awkward. It tends to let out more air than I've put in, when attempting to remove it from the valve. It's so hit and miss, and pretty frustrating. Can someone recommend a decent bicycle...

    Bafang BBS02 48v 750w issues???

I wish I had the nerve to travel that kind of distance. I tend to stay within 10 miles from home, in case of a bike malfunction :( Enjoy your day out ;)

I don't want to make a battery pack but...

Depending on when your batteries were manufactured, you may be able to purchase some more modern, slightly better performing SLA's. I don't think they have got any lighter though, but somebody here might be able to give you an insight on any advances in SLA technology ;)

If funds are tight, would you consider going the SLA battery route?

I don't want to make a battery pack but...

Still wouldn't be adequate for your bike. The bike will run, but you will get the same problem of it cutting out under load, and even by some miracle it did work, the usable range would be pitiful. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but you should really try to look into purchasing an...

    Bafang BBS02 48v 750w issues???

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a BBS02 48v 750w kit and battery from Eclipse. I was originally going to go for their BBS02 36v 500w kit and battery, but they are out of 36v batteries :( The reason I was going for the BBS02 36v 500w kit, was that I was a little concerned with reports of the...

I forgot to mention what Jerry kindly stated, the voltage sag would be horrendous

I think you're right to be concerned about the low current output of these batteries. You would need to use at least ten batteries in series parallel to provide adequate power and current for a low powered controller. BTW, what is the current rating of your controller?

    Stalkingcat's Crystalyte monster motor

Stalkingcat appears to have disappeared from the forum, which is a shame coz his posts were really interesting. Are any forum members bidding for his Crystalyte monster motor? Would love to see someone fit this and provide a review. Crystalyte Electric bike kit 8+kw Stealth hunter!!

    Halfords electric bike

Not a great deal of difference spec wise with that selection. They will all manage a 10 mile round trip on a full charge. I would personally opt for one with 26" wheels, not a step through and not the smaller wheeled folding type. In the price range you suggest, that only leaves the EBCO...
