Help! Bike for semi-specialised use - purchase advice

Marketing for any beach is simply a photo shot. Any one who mixes saline whether wet or dry sand will play havoc eventually with electrics and esp the battery as I mentioned. Riding along the coast on the promenade is one thing but riding on sand will be another ball game.

    Help! Viking Freedom 700c fault

Another satisfied forumite, it is surprising how many we help . Practically anything slightly technical with oem non middrive bikes is solved via forums like this, LBS have no skill or knowledge of basic stuff and need a pc to plug in to tell them what is wrong. Have to admit some of us would...

    TSDZ2(B) OSF

It appears you are spamming several threads with the same post, it is bad ettiquette and has been reported. One assumes you are the seller as you seem to have an OTT interest in this item.

For Sale Anyone got OSF on their TSDZ2?

Any one with OSF will already have a working cable/programmer. Getting on for nearly £40 , much easier and so easy to make your own up.

Suspension is simply a marketers trick to sell a bike , most systems on cheaper bikes are pretty rubbish and tbh all they do is add weight. Better to fit over size tyres and run lower psi , better then cheap suspension is a suspension stem but they are some what more expensive then the basic...

    3-D Printer

I haven't yet got 3D printer but for my first cheaper foray in to it I was looking at this one. Creality 3D Ender-3 3D Printer 780437202511 | eBay One can always buy a better one later but if it doesn't suit ones needs or finds it not their liking then at least a large amount of funds isn't...

    Help choosing an e-bike please

With the Ute I got over the 50kg skewer max loading by attaching the tow hitch to the rear bike pannier extension frame (which is part of the main welded bike frame) , I attched by various means a stout solid aluminium bar to which to attach the tow hitch. The Cotic isn't an issue as the rear is...

    Help! Viking Freedom 700c fault

KD58C does have the walk assist mode , try it first to see if the motor runs. Depress the minus/down button for a few secs. If it works it will then reduce any fault to be nothing more then a PAS alignment issue or it's wiring in most cases.

Help! Running axa lights on 36v sine wave controller

Typically the light current rating is tiny , maybe 1a max. The KT controllers with a dedicated light support supply can run powerful lights via the wuxing light /horn switch. I have run rear wired lights and front lights with the integral buck converter without issues.

    Help! Viking Freedom 700c fault

Dave has walk assist so if that works then the field can be narrowed down instantly to the PAS as the likely fault.

    Yosepower hub kits.

If the connector is the moulded julet type then the pins outs may be different , one has to chop the connectors off and then marry the correct wires to each other and then PAS should work. Red /Red, Blk/ Blk and then the the pair of remaining colours are the signal, if wire colours differ we...
