Can't go far wrong with that. I think the 2015 KTM Panasonic bikes have a bigger battery, about 560wh compared to just over 400. That would make a difference, but you are still getting useful extra range compared to the Stealth, and a much nicer bicycle.

Cripes, how exciting. I feel like I'm living an Enid Blyton Famous Five story.

E-MTB needed for bigger person with 'one leg'

As per my reply to your other thread - the Oxygen MTB. As a long term Oxygen user, I expect the price of the top model could be reduced a bit to fit your budget. http://www.oxygenbicycles.com/e-bikes/e-mate-mtb-13ah

Oxygen E-Mate City looking to upgrade

Expect lots of recommendations for the new Oxygen MTB. I've only had a brief ride, but it really is rather good.

The Stealth has a 9ah battery. Your original spec mentioned more than 20 miles in hilly conditions. These two statements are not compatible. As you've discovered, most modern ebikes ride quite nicely. Unless you are never going to do more than a few miles at a time, battery capacity is the...

    Heads Up to Stolen Bike

The bike is worthless is at is, but doesn't appear to have been butchered. SRS has the battery, keys and HMI display. If he could get it back, he could sell it as a decent, legit bike.

Replacement for quick release seat skewer?

These are pretty and have a secure clamp. Pretty dear, too, at about £35. http://atomic22.com/seatpost-clamp.aspx

New Electric Bike World Record Set!

Rubbish. You - and other traders - persist in asking 'questions' on here purely to market their own product/grind their own axe. You know fine well the 'record' is just a puff for the bike shop who loaned the bike, and we all know fine well your subsequent posts are no more than an attempt to...

New Electric Bike World Record Set!

No, I am suggesting your laudable - and entirely altruistic - attempt to realign our moral compasses is unlikely to be well received.

Pannier Question for Woosh Big Bear Owners

All that will fit is a linked pair which you throw over the carrier. A few cheap and cheerful ones about, likely to be no more than shower proof. Brooks make a neat set - at a price - but again they are described as water resistant, not water proof...

What do you carry in your repair kit?

Reminds of The Likely Lads when Terry worries if some medicine he is about to take will clash with an iron jelloid he took earlier.

So I went to a trail centre...

I'm no mountain biker, but I suspect the obsession with speed is fairly recent and has a lot to do with Strava. Trying to go faster and faster can only lead to ever more serious crashes and is futile. Better, I think, to concentrate on riding the trail in a smoother, neater, more technically...

What do you carry in your repair kit?

Kept on meaning to have a look-see at my can but never got around to it, so I will also be remembering those instructions. Not had a puncture on the Rose or the AVE so far, but have had a couple on the Brommie. The AVE is quick release both ends and lighter to handle than the Rose, so putting...

So I went to a trail centre...

Good stuff, sounds like you are fairly hardcore already. You should go for a ride with Eddie, I reckon he's one of the few on here who could keep up with you. I will come, too, but only to drive the van and keep a kettle boiling on a camping stove in the car park.

What do you carry in your repair kit?

Experiences of the seal and inflate aerosols seem to vary. I stopped to help a roadie on a ride recently who had used one without success. She was very bonny but on her own admission not very bike mechanically minded, so I think success with an aerosol has a lot to do with the operator. I...

    Another Aldi Cycle Gear Day

I fancy a lightweight shower proof jacket, but it may not happen. Previous attempts to buy Aldi bike special offers have been frustrated by aggressive shoppers who grab almost everything within 10 minutes of the shop opening.

Just in... New Raleigh Electric Bikes with Shimano STEPS Mid Drive System

I wonder why the Di2 hub gear bike needs what looks like a twin sprocket derailleur. The chain doesn't need to move sideways, and a single sprocket tensioner would be enough to tension it.
