Three of them, with an inverter and a modern 32" LCD TV would work for a hour or so. Probably get you through a power cut.

I have a load of spare SLAs as well. I have found a few uses for these so far: 1. Use 1 to power a cheap compressor. Portable electric pump. Will run for ages from a 12ah SLA. 2. A few in parallel connected to an inverter. Portable mains electricity. (no good for anything power hungry though)...
