    Woosh CD Sport electric problem

you did not do many miles in a year - that may be the problem. Batteries need to be used, not just charged up to full. A totally full battery runs as much risk of swelling as a totally flat battery. You can try to discharge the battery - like riding a lot on flat roads, then when you charge it...

News :- Mando Footloose IM arrives in UK

yes, often that does, but the size of e-bike market in the UK is not as big as vacuum cleaners. I reckon fewer than 50 models will sell more than 100 units a year and it's not likely that the IM is going to be one of them, most folding e-bikes do not cost £2k.

    Advice on Wiring

I would mount the controller box behind the seat post, hide the connectors inside a large heat sleeve and hide the sleeve under the bottom bracket or behind the seat post.

    Volt metro or A2B kuo+ ?

when there is a will ... you may have to weld a set of cranks to the downtube to attach a pair of folding pedals. In the meantime, remove the left crank and rotate it 180 degrees to see how it would work.

Solar panel for charging my battery?

You get about 100W out of 1sqm when the panel is exposed in bright sunshine, probably averages out about 80W/sqm in the afternoon. You will also need a 12V storage battery and an inverter to convert your 12V-14V DC output to make 230V AC. To charge up a 15AH battery, you probably need to leave...

    Volt metro or A2B kuo+ ?

twangman got up to 37kph - 23mph, pedalling hard. Are you saying that his motor won't go over 18mph? he has got up to 18-19mph with the current setup.
  15. T

    Volt metro or A2B kuo+ ?

the motor can overheat and strips the nylon cogs in the gearbox. To go at 24 mph, you pump into the motor about 900W. It's meant to run cool at 250W, you see the picture.

    Volt metro or A2B kuo+ ?

yes, it would. 20A is capable of about 22-24mph, subject to the motor holding. that controller is for brushed motors, yours is brushless. Don't buy it Start a separate thread how to upgrade the Metro controller, post pictures of your current controller, we'll help you.

    Volt metro or A2B kuo+ ?

he has a higher cadence than you, tapash. I did ask you the question before, did the motor cut off when you pedal hard? if it does, then the bike is restricted, if it does not, then the bike is not restricted, only your legs can make the bike go faster. A bigger chainring helps to lower the cadence.
  19. T

    Volt metro or A2B kuo+ ?

of course he does. When it's not restricted, the bike will go as fast as you can pedal, especially when going downhill where gravity helps. It's a different situation when a bike is restricted because it is too powerful to comply with the law if derestricted. For example, a bike built to...
