    36v controller ? Handle 48volt battery

Over volting can be fun as Kirstin says, tbh parts for hub bike sare generally cheap so not a great deal if a controller blows or a hubs fails. I have only ever run my hubs at max controller current to see how fast I could go, think the most i saw watts wise was a tad over 850w with my q128c...

    36v controller ? Handle 48volt battery

Open it to find out, see what caps are rated for. One will need away of monitoring lvc in use, relying on the battery BMS is not ideal

    TSDZ2 with tiny batteries?

Afaik eco gives 33% boost , tour 100%, sport 300% & turbo 400% it is only in the last two where the high current will be seen. I'm still playing with my settings and thus far haven't noticed much difference in eco or tour using hybrid mode. I have to re-flash the comtroller with new hybrid mode...

    TSDZ2 with tiny batteries?

My Lg hg2 12s/2p gets me 30 miles on flat terrain with PAS 1 Kt 22a controller. The p42a 12s/2p gets me 24 miles towing a trailer offroad on mosty flat terrian with some ascent with my tsdz2 in eco with a tiny bit of tour use. For this I'm using hybrid mode and haven't yet ridden in pure TS...

    TSDZ2 with tiny batteries?

My 48v tsdz is 14a max, however I have no idea what current is drawn in any of the 4 assist modes. I use 12s 2p, I have 2 batteries I use. A LG hg2 6ah and a Moli P42a 8.4ah. For a tiny 1s set up one will really need to use a 25/30a cell with 21700, one will only find the 50s is likely the...

Grinder proof D Lock coated with Barronium

It's too late once the crime is committed they get off lightly, it is prevebtioned that's needed in the first place. The country needs a proper police presence on the street to tackle anti social behaviour as that is where it starts.

DVSA take companies to Court for selling illegal bikes.

Saw another ebike/moped today, no pedal action but careering along at about 20mph on the pavement.

Battery at 50% yet power is switching off

There is another possible option that may help and that is a C10 restore/reset of the system.

Battery at 50% yet power is switching off

No, you are correct 36v battery is max 42v. My readings I posted are because I'm useing 12s /44v nominal batteries. I used my scenario to to show how vague the lcd4 voltage readout can be Jody's 43v reading is a tad high for a 36v nom battery, if the reading is a true one then the bms could be...

Battery at 50% yet power is switching off

Depends if the volatage reading is via a DVM or the lcd 4 ? My lcd4 isn't vary steady, the static reading can vary by 0.5v. My current 12s reads 44.9v on my DVM, 44.8v with a lcd3 and then the lcd4 dances up and down it will read anything from 44.4 - 44.8v and this fluctuates continually...

    Investigating Lithium battery generators

Stand alone LFP, over £470 for 100ah 12v battery with smart reading. £280 buys 4 x 105ah modules for 12v and add £70 for a smart bt/uart bms is nigh on a third cheaper. £531 buys 8 x 105ah modules 12v 210ah or 24v 105ah, both options far better then the stand alone battery. 24v would be...

Battery at 50% yet power is switching off

As I mentioned the kt displays don't have a switchable solution for 36 or 48v, the system simply registers the voltage and automatically knows what is being used. I use 12s with my KT's and have no such cutting out isssue, all I can say is swap out the lcd4 for a lcd3 or even an lcd2 and see...

    My Pendleton Somerby

It is a bike more inline for female riders, as mentioned a sit up and beg dutch style type ride. The gearing is so to make the bike very easy to ride and in most part women casually riding will only be pootling along.

Battery at 50% yet power is switching off

The Kt dual voltage controllers usually detect battery voltage type automatically, thye don't have a option to switch between 36 or 48v. They can have issues with inbetween voltages like 12s if used. I have never seen a default p5/0 value, all the displays I have used are always preset to 10...
