Going by the strange colour sequence on the PAS, I would hedge a bet that as normal Black is Gnd , green Sig & Purple 5v. Are you able to show us pics of the cut wiring and the connectors connected together ?

Though they look similar in style they aren't the same looking at both. The ebay one should fit the bike but one will have to fit the battery plate/holder fitting in place of your current one. Best to show pics of you bike and the area behind the seat post.

Throttle is probably the white connector, Y/B/R wiring.

It's a lishui brand controller, the wiring indicates no hacking. If the display doesn't allow speed adjustment then it is pre set in the programming. The White cable/connector is the data/programming connection, only a dealer with software can alter it.
