    nicad cells.

I wouldn't bother. Lithium is cheap enough now, and it's a lot lighter for the same capacity.

Help! Derestricting Oxygen S-Cross MTB Mk2?

Sorry if this rains on your parade, but you can't adjust your speed to 75km/h. That settings is for the speed at which the controller cuts power to the motor. The motor can only spin to maybe 40km/h, no matter how much power you give it. On the road, you might get 32 km/h, after which power will...

Bnineteenteam 36V/48V 250W Electric Bicycle Wheel Kit

Pull back the heatshrink and check that the wires are connected in the right sequence. Disconnect everything from the controller except the battery and LCD. Switch on the LCD and check that you have 5v between the red and black on the throttle, then connect the motor, PAS and throttle and...

    Carerra Vengance E-spec motor replacement

If you get the same type, but just the motor without the wheel, there's a fair chance that you can swap the cores, which would probably be the cheapest solution; however, there have been some updated to these motors, so it's not guaranteed. In the worst case, you have to build the new motor into...

Bnineteenteam 36V/48V 250W Electric Bicycle Wheel Kit

If the wires didn't match, that could be the problem. Can you show us. BTW, your motor is in upside down. The cable should go downwards unless you want to use your motor as a fish tank, while you're riding. Also, your 48v motor might be a bit slow at 36v unless it's a high speed one. Keep the...

    Brain power controller

It's not using any speed sensor in the motor. Instead, it's picking up the speed signal from a motor hall sensor. Maybe your motor doesn't have a speed sensor in it. You can check by measuring the voltage on the white wire while you turn the wheel backwards. It would pulse once or 6 times per...

    Greenedge CS2 – charging issue

It doesn't look right in your photo, but not very clear. It looks like the blade might be broken off. there shouldn't be that straight horizontal line at the top of the hole. Some photos in here that are fairly clear, plus i think this is the correct replacement if you need it...

    Greenedge CS2 – charging issue

The easiest way is to pull back a bit of the insulation on the inside and check the voltage on the back of the connector. Do it with and without the charger connected. Let us know the results.

Can we see a few photos of what you have so that we can give appropriate advice. In the meantime, make sure that the motor connector is all the way to the marked line, not just in tight.

ebike motor kit for a wooden bike

Yes, the pedals have to be able to propel the bike at a safe speed. Strictly speaking, it would be illegal to ride an electric bike without a chain, but if you had the broken chain in your pocket, i can't see anyone wanting to prosecute you. It would be similar to driving your car home after...

For Sale JOLST E-BIKE, E-SCOOTER AND BIKING ACCESSORY SPECIALIST LONDON

Nice bikes. they look good value with nice KT controllers. One thing I don't understand though. Why don't you get your supplier to stamp the motors as 250w so that you can sell them as legal bikes? Alternatively, get them to fit a high power "250w" motor, like the others do.

    Greenedge CS2 – charging issue

35v probably means that it's not charging for whatever reason. One potential reason is that the charging port in the battery is damaged. have a look in there. You should see the pin in the middle and the blade next to it. The blade is like a leaf-spring. As the jack goes in, it gets pushed to...

    Eplus /elife

That's a different type. I thought you had a frog battery, like in my link, which was used a lot on Elife bikes. I don’t have any experience of that system. Show a picture of the whole bike, so that we can make suggestions for alternatives.

    Fiido D2s controller wiring

Nice one. That'll work on any electric bike with a handlebar mounted control panel. For a bike with sealed connectors, you can cut and join the wires inside the controller box.

ebike motor kit for a wooden bike

The BPM is a high torque motor with relatively high mass. It wouldn't be the best choice for you project. If you do go ahead with it, you need strong steel forks. A better choice for a front motor would be something like the small Q100H (AKM100). Why are you averse to a rear motor, for which...

    Brain power controller

You need to connect the white wire in the motor connector to the speed sensor. One wire goes to the white and the other probably to any 5v. If that doesn't work, connect the second wire to ground. You'll have to find some way to bodge a normal pedal sensor onto the crank if you want pedal assist.
