    motor problem

I don't know if these work the same way, with the KT you can omit the display for a one PAS level control. With the KT one links together Gnd/Black to Yellow and Red to Blue. The worst that can happen is you fry the old controller, so nothing lost. If it doesn't work buy another Brainpower or...

Help! No "-" button to select assist level...

No only the bosh type et al and the tdzs kit, all others are cadence type which use the better current control rather then the cheapo crappy speed control. Suntour use TS with their unreliable hub control systems. Current control (torque simualtion) is not to be confused with TS, current...

    Two wheel drive electric bike

You can't preach to some of us (the knowledgeable ones), we know exactly what we are doing and have been doing so safely for many years. For your average joe/jane ebiker then paralleling is likely not a good idea, one needs to have good understanding of how batteries work to know what you are...

    motor problem

Purple might be bike lock wire, hence someone has tagged a bit of Red to indicate live 5v.

So who has ordered a new ebike?

Not surprised it is damaged arriving via TNT.

If you want TS mtb and not a tdzs kit, then you will have to buy a branded closed system bike like bosh, yamaha et al.

    Two wheel drive electric bike

I parallel a 23.2ah/80a & 17.5ah/100a together total poss current is 180a, the current is drawn from the pair with obviously one supplying a very slight higher current. Both batteries voltage reduction is steady and much in sync with each other. I have two Swizz's the first one Jimmy replaced...

    Power glitch?

It doesn't matter which motor kit you use, you have to match the battery continuous operating current (not the peak out put current) to the kits controller. So before buying any kit one needs to know the controllers current specs. Any controller for that battery should be no more then 20a...

    Bit Of Advice Please.

Definitely change handle bars to wider ones and better still get some swept back at about 40 degrees for real comfort and control, fit ergon grips and one would have a very comfy set up and little need for suspension with fatter tyres.

    Wheels

It won't matter which rim you use , the spoke breakage is down to the wheel build quality more then components.

    Two wheel drive electric bike

I wish it was, but love the iconic style and look of the bike. It is unique. The mid drive brushed Heinzeman motor is 270w and the controller doesn't speed limit. No display is used as the bike has no PAS levels, it rides as fast as the rider wants it too.
