    Two wheel drive electric bike

Both my BBS01 controllers died around the same sort of mileage, I find them quite poor.

    Bit Of Advice Please.

Locate the controller box and post pics of the wiring nicely laid apart and not a birds nest affair then we might be able to see if it is possible. Regards to tyres one might be able to fit something like Scwalbe's 20" Big apple's or others they produce up to about 2 - 2.15", measure the...

Hope you got deep pockets for a battery, the X1 Pro nominal current is 70a for the 855 controller and 200a for the 2000 model. One would think for serious riding a 100ah battery would be needed for any decent range. My Swizzbee runs typically at up to 16a -30a nominal with a brushed motor and...

    Two wheel drive electric bike

Never used one but reliability wise they should be better then BBS et al, as one can see the controller isn't wholly integrated but runs with some free air and lots more metal for heatsink. They are bulkier so if you don't like ugly BB motors like this look or Bosh et al then might not be your...

    TSDZ2 - advice please

Obviously chain line is way out, a freewheel will have a worse chainline then a cassette. A chain keep or old derailleur might help or one could think about converting the tsdz with a double chainwheel to use all the gears better. They aren't to dissimilar to BBS and these are quite easy to...

Help! No "-" button to select assist level...

One possibly would think any controller maybe of a solid state mini type whether one will have good access or the room to actually fit anything else isn't really worth the bother.

Help! No "-" button to select assist level...

To add a throttle or change anything the controller needs to be located and removed from with in the frame, then the controller may not have the option to add a throttle.

Spot the similarities in design, the CycMotor X1 pro top and the GNG below. Both companies are owned by the same owners but both producing differing power options. Both use a remote air cooled box controller covered by the shroud sides between BB and the drive motor.

    36v or 48v ?

    less current is best for controllers so 36v x 20a = 720w, a similar 48v would be 15a.

Problem with that bike everything is hidden in the frame so not always easy access, one reason I stay well away from integrated stuff.

    Power glitch?

The battery specs are 20a continuous, look on the controller to see what the max current is, one suspects it will be 25 if not 30a. You will need a battery that can supply in excess of the controller rating, the battery must be rated for and say continuous current 25 or 30a etc, etc. Ignore...

Likely a basic 3 speed control programmed unit, they all work the same and only have one toggle button so one has to go through the sequence. The KT one linked to needs to paired with a KT controller other wise it will not work correctly. One has to locate the controller box to find the brand...

Currently the load board position overhang position to the axle is 2/3's to the front to counter balance weight distribution, the new board will follow suit so any rear load is biased to the fore of the axle. My new board will be the same adding an extra 100mm to the rear and 200 to the front.

LED display with 3 modes, mode one is too slow and hardly helps, modes 2 and 3 are way too fast and PAS works in both direction

Some of the higher PAS I use also at Hassocks as I make my way up to Jack and Jill, from there on a nice beautiful day I cycle to the WW1 'Chattri' Indian crem memorial, it is sat in the middle of know where on the downs and is a fitting peaceful place where their souls can rest.

    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

Yep bike parts are thin on the ground every LBS is short of most even e bike manufacturers, things can be a little slow and it effects everyone. The LBS/supplier is caught in the middle currently at the mercy of of both ends of supply and delivery.

LED display with 3 modes, mode one is too slow and hardly helps, modes 2 and 3 are way too fast and PAS works in both direction

Yes, the good thing with KT is one can use any of there displays. The 5 PAS levels I can tell you what you will get. PAS 1 will give a 13% of available controller max current. PAS 2 = 20%. PAS 3 = 33%. PAS 4 = 50%. PAS 5 = 100%. These aren't speed settings but current/amperage power...
