    Help! Errore 10 display Sw900 LCD 3 su kit 1500w 48 60 v controller nel mozzo

Error 10 means that the LCD does not communicate with the controller. There are many possible reasons for that, but these are most frequent. 1.No 5V on the wires that need 5V. Measure between the black and red wires on the throttle, pedal sensor or motor hall sensor connectors when the LCD is...

Dapu MD250 motor and controller wiring identification

That's a standard ebike controller. They all work more or less the same. Can you confirm whether there are 8 or 9 pins in the motor connector? I can only guess at the other two connectors as one for programming and the other for a throttle. The other wires from the motor must include the pedal...

Wispa Bike will no longer power up

If the battery is fully charged and the control panel only flashes when you try to switch it on either the control panel is faulty, which is usually because it got water in it, or there is a major short circuit somewhere, like a blown MOSFET in the motor controller. To test the controller, drag...

    bike laws

I remember another case about someone using an illegal vehicle. I can't remember the details, but IIRC, the Road Traffic Act only applies to vehicles that are designed to be used on the road. That self-balancing thing is clearly not designed to be used on the road, so, while it might be illegal...

Brose S and T Motor overhaul video finally finished!

Can you fix a Brose motor with faulty electronics? I know someone who has two identical bikes, and by swapping parts, he's confirmed that both the motor and LCD are faulty on one of the bikes. He doesn’t know where to get spare parts.

    annoying clicking noise

We told him last Wednesday to check the spokes. 10 seconds later, he could have a solution to his problem or he could have eliminated it as a possibility. The same with the disc, two screws and 30 seconds and that could have been proven or eliminated. He obviously ony wants sympathy or company...

Rockshox rear axle keeps coming loose

As long as the wheel spins freely and sounds OK, the bearings are probably OK. It's difficult to comment without knowing what you have on your axle, but it sounds to me like you didn’t tighten the locknut properly that locks the bearing adjuster nut.

I'm guessing battery has had it as controller only stays on for 1 second

You can probably fix it by resoldering the joints on the back of the switch. Try that first.

Replace / Upgrade of lcd 790 display & controller.

There isn't much to go wrong with a pedal sensor like that. It's just a hall sensoe with three wires attached. They can be damaged by connecting too high a voltage, but that normaly makes a short that pulls down the 5V. The only other possibility I can think of is a wire pulled off or broken...

    BBS01 to KT controller mod.

Can you confirm that it runs OK at maximum crank rotation speed? Xiongda said that the reason they couldn't use the KT controller on their tiny motr was that it didn't have a high enough commuration speed. I can't remember the Xiongda's reduction ratio, but crank motors must have quite ahigh...

    BBS01 to KT controller mod.

You just need to keep an eye on the controller temperature. It can run much hotter than a typical hub motor because you can keep the current high for longer by using the gears. It's no problem if you don't use level 5 most of the time.

    Worlds first self charging e-bike

I thought that the idea of an electric bike was to use electricity from a battery to make the bike easier to pedal, not to have to pedal harder than a normal bike to put electricity into a battery.

40km/h is a bit of an ask. If around 35 km/h was acceptable. a Q128 motor fromm BMSBattery and one of their 48v shark batteries with integrated controller would so the job for about £550. You could get one of the cheap 1000w direct drive kits from Ebay, but they normally have crappy pedal...

Replace / Upgrade of lcd 790 display & controller.

The green wire should switch on and off with 5v when you rotate the pedals forward slowly. If you measure with the pedals stationary, you'll get 5v or 0V. If it doesn't switch and you have 5v between the red and the black, you need a new sensor. Check to see if there's a nick in the wire. It...

Rockshox rear axle keeps coming loose

QR wheel clamps can't come loose on their own. It sounds to me like it's what's on the axle that's coming loose, like whatever holds the bearings in.

Battery indicator shows empty after short distance

After switching on, you can do two short presses of the power button to switch the bottom of the display to show voltage. Make a note of the reading immediately after unplugging the charger, then keep an eye on it to see at which voltage it shuts down during the ride. I can see two...

    Freego Eagle problems

The Freego pedal sensor has weird sensitivity issues. They don't like the 12 magnet discs, and different magnet discs are matched to different sensors because they each are designed to work with their own arrangement of magnets. You can get ones with all north magnets, ones with alternating...
