Battery pic please. Generally you can use any 36v battery of any capacity, if it can be wired correctly/safely for use. 1054p probably should read 10s4p which means 10s = 36v & 4p = 4 cells in parallel, this means the cells are 2250 mah capacity each x 4 to get 9ah.

Does the lcd have any maker details on the rear or can you tell us the maker of the main controller, a simple pic of the label can be helpful.

You have to tell us the current rating of the controller, without knowing that a lithium battery will be shagged in no time if it can't output the current required and could cause it to overheat and catch fire.

At the suggested price the cells will be no name cheap China cell of unknown quality and real term capacity, though 2500mah cells and 10ah battery capacity they might actuall only deliver a quarter of that. For instance the crappy Trustfire type lion cells sold on ebay and the like are quoted...

I think you might get your fingers burnt looking briefly at that listing, £50 for 24v 15ah lion battery ????? Also no way will it supply 40a that you say your fuse is rated for, the rating is for 15a continuous discharge.

I have them on my KT controllers replacing the crappy bullets. The insulator/shroud only fits one way on to the main MT body so if you use them do make sure you solder the wires in the correctly sequence, they certainly make for a better job.

10ah/360wh battery capacity is the minimum you should be looking at. MTB I feel is so yesterday, I'm mid 50's and go with 700c CX type bike set up.
