    G-tech bike,has anyone seen a proper test

If they are smart (pun intended) they will use a gear hub and keep the belt drive. They will make you pay through the nose for that option.

    Bafang 350 watt BBS01 - could I sell it?

The only problem the OP has is "350 W" stamped on the motor. The 250 W BBS01 is a tuned down version of the 350 W motor - 15 Amp instead of 18 Amp. If there was a way of changing the markings on the motor and turning the Amps down to 15 it would be a legal motor. The 350 W BBS02 is a different...

    Haibike Trekking

The Yamaha lets you have a double chainring on the front. That can be useful when you live where I do for example but not so much on the flat.

    Electric kit for Helios Tandem?

Handling - don't like the weight in the front wheel, others don't mind. You can gear higher because you have a motor helping you.

    Battery Options

LG, Panasonic and Samsung brands are the most common. There is some Sony around but very rare. Any of the above are fine, if they are real and not counterfeit... Tesla has a partnership with Panasonic.

    Trial expansion of 'Like' facility

It is a shame there is no "bad grammar" category  Or "bad use of a word" which would enable me to go through old posts and give bad marks for every use of "donor bike" instead of "host bike", bloody Americans... grumble, grumble...

    BBS01 recumbent and thousandth post

d8veh (remember him?...) injected the 5S 8000 mAh Turnigy nano-tech virus in my credit card waving arm and I can't get rid of it. I think there is a moderately expensive 16 A (2P 2S) Lipo battery in my future... OK so 16 Ah is only 12.8 when you factor in the Lipo 80% rule but it is still about...

Are trikes allowed to be dIscussed.

The Gekko will go in the space at the bottom of my stairs where my trailer is parked 107 × 83 × 58 cm, the Scorpion is slightly bigger 90 × 83 × 63 cm <- it is the 5 extra cm "thickness" which counts if you can slide it in or not.

    Trade versus Non Trade Membership?

The adding of the admin "note for clarity" signature below trex posts is pretty, um... clear. When I joined I asked myself a few questions about your status and link with woosh trex but it quickly became clear in my mind. Now new users have your signature to go by which dots all the "i"s and...

Yee-Ha! My new bikes have arrived!

My Acera came off the bike I am about to put it back on... Don't know how many kilometres it has done before but I put 3000 on it. For the price (free...) I think it is the cat's pyjamas :)

    Introducing the new Woosh Bermuda

On brake sensors: No throttle, don't need brake sensors. But if I ever was to mount a hydraulic brake sensor (which I may well do in the near future if the GSM has too much run on) it would be on the back brake only. And... doh! It doesn't need to be even near the brake lever! It can be way down...

Pedelecs frum makes me feel sick

They still are very rare on the roads compared to factory built or Chinese supermarket imports. Much the same situation as in the build your own boat world or, as you have in the UK (unique in Europe) the kit car world. As I navigate across a national border on a weekly basis the "legal/not...

Pedelecs frum makes me feel sick

A bit too electronic nerdy. If you have no electrics or electronics background highly indigestible. Very American.
