These kits come from China where they ride bikes with cable brakes and with SLA batteries and 4kW in the wheel you need cut off switches... The Chinese need to catch up on bike technology. When they do boy will we be in heaven!

I am more worried about the wear and tear on the watertight "zip" closing system. And aerodynamics... My 7" tablet is with me in my backpack anyway and weighs under 300 grams. It is a lot cheaper than buying a smartphone (I don't have one) and a smartphone holder...

A better option for the HP is to buy the standard one and put a Bafang BBS01 on the front. One thing that trikes (and recumbents D8ve?) help with is gear changing - the chain is so long it absorbs much of the overload. Or choose a geared hub motor with lots of torque instead of the GoSwiss Drive...
