Hobby king multi star on offer

HEADS UP! The 16000mAh packs seem to be down in price, they are cheaper than both the 12000 and 10000 for me today. 129.79€ for a 16 Ah 37 V battery with 2 lipo alarms and 1 series wire!

    Alternative Lithium battery use

If you want a serious motor you can't beat the Torqueedo it runs rings around cheap trolling motors. Unfortunately the battery also contains the GPS. Maybe as a range extender (I haven't Googled to see if anyone has done this yet). A 4S Multistar Lipoly would work, any 12V motor should work...

[May 5, 2015] Box Hill, Dorking, Surrey Electric Bike gathering? (Rykas Cafe)

2.4 kg in the rear wheel, Nexus Inter 8 and Rohloff 1.7 kg It doesn't come without a cost (weight) ease of use. The NuVinci is also over -15% in efficiency. The most efficient gear hub is the Rohloff followed by the Inter 8 (1000 € price difference between the two).

Yes it is called a hub kit but not everyone wants to get their hands dirty building their own bike. Several of us have dreamed of becoming kit fitters and I believe there is a a guy in Brighton who has bitten the bullet and actually does that. My business plan isn't for sub £1000 but rather for...

OK I see what you mean now. This system is widely used in Scandinavia and Northern America, I have drawn the plans for a couple of houses built in a similar way. http://www.metsawood.com/uk/products engineered wood is a more classic way for making the panels onsite it only takes a couple of...

They changed the bloody satellite so my plans for a flat satellite dish went down the drain (instead of in front of the window), no freeview in the south of France without a 1.2 metre dish! I quite liked that guy and his TV show saw some lovely houses.

But I'm over 60 and get 6.75... You can't generalise (god I'm sounding like some of my secondary school teachers, I really am heading into "grumpy old man" territory) about energy use it depends on the rider, her bike and the state of the battery...

    Whoosh Karoo quick Review

If you are over 60 it is worth it every kilometre... I do about 6.75 and in the summer with the heat of the yellow sun (something we don't have on Krypton...) on a good day up to a watt less. It' the hills flecc! Riding down you use 0 watts and on the flat depending on mood and how you are...

And in a similar material. It would be a wear piece but you could print out spares and change as needed. trex maybe an inverted doughnut ring shape enveloping the tyre for more effective surface contact? I went looking for some CAD software for designing my battery box. Zounds!!! Has free 3D...

I bet they have a much better margin. They had a go at high price with huge margin, didn't work so they came down and it is selling better. They still have room to come down again and challenge at the same price point as the Karoo and they will still have a better margin. Look at the brakes -...

So you are trying to baby sit the consumer. "Put off by the thought of struggling up hills?" "Hills will feel flatter, you’ll be able to explore further and arrive fresher with our electric bike." Where are you reading steep? Anyone who has done a bit of riding and who looks at that bike...

I don't think you get it KD. EddiePJ doesn't ride his road bike cross country nor his MTB on the road. Here we have a city rider who is happy with the Gtech in his city commute. "Most pedelec riders" doesn't mean a thing in today's market. People will have different bikes for different purposes...
