    10S = 36 V go back to the beginning and read again! :p so you need 2 x 5S or 4S + 6S to make a 37 V battery.

Kalkhoff Endeavour S11 Premium, how to register

Every time I imagine pedalling with a full face motorbike helmet on my head (1.5 kg for an expensive one) I get the shudders... And for 38 km... o_O in the sun...

Full face helmet? You can't ride a moped with an open helmet now in the UK?

Hobby king multi star on offer

Yesterday I went over to youtube to check out "lipo fire". If I don't crash at 70 km/h, if I don't over-charge, if I don't discharge at 20C continuous, if I don't mess up connections at charge time, if I don't fully charge before storing... I think the risk is pretty minimum. I will not be...

    Gsm vs bbs01

I have an inkling notion that someone goofed when they programmed the internal controller cut off speed. The code is probably missing some "if then else" clauses ;) This post swayed my decision to forge ahead with the GSM build. I will try at 25 km/h with the external controller just to see but...

This creaking is driving me crazy - any ideas?

When you think that I have done nearly 2500 km with my bottom bracket held in with epoxy paste and narry a squeak... I had pedal squeak problems that went away when I fitted the Shimano ones I took off my second free bike. Once the left hand pedal squeaked itself all the way off and I...

Have any of you tried setting the speed to 27 kph (within the legal 10% difference)? Would be interesting to know if PAS works at that speed.

If you read above in this thread it seems that the motor is pulling over 18 Amps so it will be using more battery.

ebiking in spain as a resident ,do i ship, buy new and charging

Yes the charger will work you just need to swap the wall plug. I am a fan of cutting the cord and fitting a local plug rather than using an adaptor. Your spares are available http://www.ciclotekstore.com/b2c/inicio.php Yes BH and Orbea are the two big brands and there are several others Roads...

Looking for advice on a bike that could cover a 50 mile distance with ease

Podride is fine for northern climates. It doesn't seem to have a top off mode for our southern late Spring and early Autumn.

How on earth does he get away with this?

If it's a bicycle 4000 W is of no use to you. A bicycle can get by just fine with 500 W - 750 W because it is light and your power to weight ratio is in a sweet spot for correct range. Sure, bang a 10 kW motor in there and do smoky burn outs, nought to 50 in 3 seconds and after 10 km go home and...

There is a tolerance - I can no longer find the legal text stating it - of 10%. Your problem is not using that tolerance, it is incorrect speed showing on the LCD. You need to set your cut off speed to real 15 mph + or - 10%. If you set to 17 mph on your LCD and you are really doing only 15 mph...

Looking for advice on a bike that could cover a 50 mile distance with ease

Looking out the window today I am 100% behind the idea that a e-velomobile is the perfect vehicle for this season! They are not without problems, lets start with those: - high winds, especially side winds require well thought out aerodynamics for a vehicle that weighs as little as 28 kg - fully...

    Ford MoDe:Flex

Probably hydraulic that way you just need a push rod somewhere the two halves join. EDIT: maybe the thingy we see in the photo on the bottom of the front part of the frame. I think the design brief was "fit in the back of a Ford". "A" Ford, not "all" Fords perhaps
